Yeah, you'll need buildings, lots of, destroyed ones, use 1 stud width bricks and slopes for the ruined wall feeling. Make the ground a mix between light gray and dark GRAY, not bley (bley is horrible) add some oldie destroyed cars.

I am going to Bricklink torsos for Germans,Russians. I will Brickarms weapons and I will then get helmets from Bricklink/Brickforge.
