To be honest, I haven't thought of a back story (yet). I imagine them as being almost fantasy-like creatures with shining white armor and a hideous black beast underneath. It's really more of a pure building theme than an actual faction with a plot behind it, kind of like Nannan Zhang's Black Fantasy theme.

Oh, thats cool. I kind of thought of them as space faring crusaders, cruising through space in a big flashy white mothership. Assimilating pure species into the collective, anhiliating the unpure. cleansing unclean worlds. (Desimating all "unpure life") That kinda stuff.

That is an interesting idea. I have implied before that the creatures are somehow assimilated into the collective. However, I have yet to think of a complete backstory. For now, the VC is allied with UNE on the basis that VC has interest in preventing the human race from destroying itself and ultimately assimilating them.

Yeah, I was influenced by the great MOCs of Andreas Höttler and so I made some grey/red MOCs of my own. I have tons of grey and red parts.

I also thought, since there a collective do they share the same mind, or do they all still have their own minds but can sense the others emotions and thoughts?

Haha I'm not sure about that yet either. I'll have to elaborate on that later. They all have their own physical brains and their own thoughts, but maybe there is some mental link that connects them to each other.

I am the master of backstory as I am the master of good comic plots with bad builds. Dali, I know you know this, I think, but my offer of assistance still stands.

And by joining this group, it's a not so subtle sign that the ship (twas a mech, but I failed at that) I'm working on is nearly done. Don't expect anything amazing though.

The colors are white, lime green, black, tan, and grey. You don't really have to use a lot of lime. Actually you should use a tiny, tiny amount of lime. My Venus Shrike only has 5 lime green pieces on it.

I don't think I have any green pieces. Is it ok if I substitute them for another colour? I am getting a set with tons of white pices so I should be able to do something good in about a week. But I have some GDI stuff to post and some more C.O.P. stuff and continue my 'Apocalypse' series. So I am pretty darn busy!
If you don't use green, at least try to use tan and trans-light blue.

Yup. The hip armor, thigh armor, gun barrel, and shield is very similar to izzo's.
