Creating a war

Maybe we could create some sort of war, and everyone has their own nation, etc. Anyone up for that idea? (Just a suggestion.)

Well, I can't join so why don't we start something like that here until others can join.

Wouldn't mind doing something like that, sounds fun! Though we should probaly do it in teams, because if we each were our own contry my military would only consist of a dozzen planes (only 1 not mini scale), a helocopter, and an old, beat up, escort carrior. If more people want to get into it I'd be happy to pretisipate. - sorry about the bad spelling, I hope you guys can make that word out.

Yeah, we could use teams to make it different from 21 Century World or D&L. Do you want to organize this with me?

Sound interesting. Would it be like a game. we could have people play it by posting comments. Just an idea.

We could at least try to organize it, I have to say I don’t have much prior experience with this kind of thing, but still better to try and fail than not try at all. We would have to make rules of some kind; otherwise someone could just say they have a 2x4 brick that fires death star lasers or something crazy like that. It might work best if every one worked together to make the good guys and bad guys and this way there wouldn't be as many arguments about power levels of different MOCs and stuff. We could all take turns from week to week being the enemy general wile the others try and defeat the endless (until we all get bored and just say we’ve won already) enemy army. Whatever we do we should try and make it based more on fun than actual competitiveness, otherwise every one will just end up arguing with each other and the whole thing will be chaos. You probably have your own opinion (as well as any one else reading this), so feel free to post it too.
Oh, and I'm afrade I am unfimiliar with the term "D&L" what does it mean?

We could do what the other group did and have someone trustworthy comment on each moc, 1-10 for attack, defence, movement, and cost. We would have three creation to play, Land, sea, and air. We could also use other peoples creations as units if its ok with them. We could have a map of the world with different spaces. You start off with your country of a certaint amount of spaces. when you move a unit onto another space you gain it as part of your country. Also sea units travel on water, cannot claim sea as part of the country, and can only move onto a land space next to the sea. air units can travel on land, and sea. You win by defeating all your enimies units, or by capturing most of the map, and a country losses when all of its spaces are captured. We could play with a few countries.

Sounds like it could work; we should try and get some more people interested. I have an idea on deciding the power level of MOCs. Every one could create power levels for their own MOCs but they must be approved by the other participants. This way no one would be left out of the battle as the judge. If the judge was part of the battle than he/she would have too much power, but if we all were judges than we could all play and the power would be equally distributed.
Overall I think you should have the final decision on how we do things; you seem to have much more knowledge on this sort of thing than me.

Oh, D&L stands for Diplomats and Legions. It's a group that is doing what we are planning to do in this group. But there rules are more strict and the group is somewhat difficult to get into.

I have an idea, and it is to create a group for creating a war. Does anyone concur? I like that idea, because then we won't have to use up a ton of topics and comments in this group.

Maybe it everyone can have a fictional country, or a team has a fictional country. By fictional country, I mean a world that can be similar to Earth, with the same level of technology for everything. Just different countries, continents, land masses, and other Geographical differences.

I just kind of feel like that's a little too "game-ish." I think it should be realistic, like it doesn't matter how much you start with, but it should be relatively equal. Your country can produce different kinds of tanks, ships, etc., but you have to create those things. And you can conquer territory faster or slower due to your attacking/defending force's strength.

Guys, I am going to create a group to use all of our ideas here. You think that would be a good idea?
