Me, and I’ll probably bring some dark bley stuff…;-) And maybe a few older MOCs that are still together.

@ Dave, what collaborative displays are you building for? Or is it top secret...

I'll be there too. :) I'm not sure if I'll bring anything but it will be great to see everyone again (and to meet those of you that I haven't met in person yet.)

Dave - check with Fradel Gonzales. He is the sci-fi & military coordinator. If there is a moonbase, he is in charge of it :)

What is this moon base talk anyway? I thought you were a train guy :)

yeah, you can blame me for Dave having to build a moonbase... ask him about his HALO build sometime! HAHAHA

Looking forward to this like a kid at Christmas!

I'll be bringing mostly ships, including the Rusty Ferret and (my personal fav) my Cylon Raider. I've also got a dio right now that I'm considering, but there may not be room for it. We'll see.

Bryan thanks so much for hosting once again, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!

And HALO...oh let me tell you about HALO...I might even bring that to Brickworld just to shake things up.

Oh PLEASE do! I'd love to see that!

This is going to be a most interesting experience. I'm really looking forward to meeting folks and talking Lego, among other things. I'm bringing a few things you can see on my page, such as Indy's Real Ride -- I gotta come up with a catchier name for that -- and perhaps a surprise or two (they will be a suprise because I'll be surprised if I actually get them built).

Hey Dennis, you called me an "other thing" the other day. Should I be worried?

Didn't take long for you Guys to derail this conversation, did it? Hey Bryan...did Kathie get my e-mail concerning the table usage? Just curious-more later...DX

I'm actually surprised it took this long.

I'll be there! And I'll try to haul my recent dio there as well.

I may or may not be there, depending on whether I visit China over the summer or not.

I've been thinking about that Nannan. If you'd like to ship it to my house, I'd be more than happy to hold on to it for ya till you get here. I do live down the street from the Westin after all and it would be no problem at all to drop it by for you when you get here. Let me know. ~ Chris.

I've called you lots of things and, yes, you should be worried.

You realize, Nannan, you'll NEVER see it again, right?

Let me just add a "ditto" to Sterling's comment. Love to see some of your work first hand.

Sean...what's your schedule look like for the weekend?

I plan to be there for the full convention (Thursday through Sunday) although I don't have any specific plans for any specific days.

I apparently missed this thread for a week. Did Kathie ever respond to your email? Was it the one reminding us that you need extra room behind the table for your backdrop? I have you set up with the space. No worries.

So, what are the actual table dimensions again?

Table dimensions? Shirley you can't be serious :)

Last time I heard, you said you didn't need a table....right?

Currently available table dimensions are 0 x 0. When it comes to tables, I am Mother Hubbard. We are increasing display space to 25,000 square feet. So, the event uses a total of 35,000 square feet this year. We (actually all of you) have absolutely filled the whole space.

I am happy to say the event has gone bananas this year. I am sad to say that I don't feel it is possible for me to meet and remember everyone from the event any longer. It is beyond my aged capacity :)

But tables?? really? :)

The tables are 30" x 6' if you really care.

Later, Bryan

Don’t worry, Bryan…I’m asking in reference to my contribution for the AMCP project. I still don’t need a full table for my other, smaller stuff. I hope…

Fellow AFOLS, be prepared for me to try and mooch little snippets of tablespace from you guys if things are really as tight as Bryan makes it sound like they are…;-P

I'll be coming by on a public day (Sunday) to check this out for the for the first time. Were actually staying at the hotel where this is being held. I'll be looking forward to seeing some of you and your displays in person there, it will be a great show! -Dylan

Ya know, Kescenovitz, I probably shouldn't be so generous after that snipey chicken legs comment, but then that's just the sort of kind-hearted, magnanimous individual that I am. So...

You're welcome to a bit of my table space if you need. Also, I'm planning on bringing a 30 x 60 table of my own if someone needed it. Bryan needs to give the okay on the table (just to make sure there aren't any insane safety regulations involved) before I'd bring it into the hall, but if you would like to use it, and it's okay with the big boss...it's at your disposal.

That's basically what Kescenovitz, Phipson, and I did last year. We just wandered around on Sunday to hang, and check stuff out. That was enough to get bit by the Brickworld bug, though. Wear a Hazmat suit or you're doomed for all eternity, Dylan. Dooomed, I say!

Hey Brian, I'm sure I'll have some room on my table for ya. And heck, anything to bring up the class a bit from being stuck next to Kelso would be appreciated... So ya, we'll stick ya in somewhere big guy! umm, wait, that came out wrong didn't it?

Brian, I'm sure I'll have some room. Come on over and make me look good. (I'm also the guest host for Chris' "Mi Awsum Halo" display, so I need help).

Wow, thanks everybody…I feel so loved. ;-)

Seriously though, the non-AMCP stuff I am bringing probably won’t amount to much, but it’s nice to know they will have a home somewhere.

Of course, some of the DF hardware from the AMCP could end up sneaking out and getting in to places it does not belong. Those AI controlled combat droids can get a little wonky…

Looking forward to seeing everybody there! Except Mark and Chris, of course…I had my fill of them last year. (Phipson, don’t even go there…)

I went, it was uhmayzing.

I met Nannan, and we shook hands and talked and stuff.

And I got a few freebies from the guys at BrickArms.

Definitely displaying next year.
