Yeah, I was just wondering when Sterling got a job with the brickworld team? And how long he had to be on his knees to get it? I only ask cause I'm wondering if I should invest in kneepads?

Wow. That sounds great...

Anyway, should I bring kneepads to beg to be among those 30?

C'mon Phipson, you're a married man like myself. Those knees should be nice and caloused by now from all of the begging and pleading.

Or am I the only one? (Yes, I know this topic is a dangerous one, but sometimes ya just gotta take the risk.)

Well, this should be interesting. I'm not going to beg and plead, but I will secretly hope to be chosen in spite of my meager building experience and skill.
Now then, I should state that like the President of the United States, I kneel or bow before no man, friend or enemy (but a woman is a whole different story!)

Who'd you hear that from? Chip Philson? He's a known liar and scoundrel of the highest order.

That's what I've heard too. But Sterling's right, we've heard the stories... and the pics didn't hurt either (said the man who has a pic of himself riding Kescenovitz on kelso's page... remind me to "thank" Kelso for that in two weeks).

Quoting Dave Sterling

I heard we were going to get a live 'repeat performance' of that debacle at the opening ceremonies.

Exactly how should that be listed in the agenda for the opening ceremony?

Hmm...I'll have to think about that. Perhaps list it as 'surprise live entertainment'. People will certainly be surprised. LOL.

Maybe something like Phippy had going on with last year's MOCies..."Brickworld Interpretive Dancers?"

Just think about how many "Event in Review" dvds we could sell -- probably about five.

So this is Phipson's historical return to the world of family entertainment? Be interesting to see it "on ice!"

Why do I get the feeling that BrickWorld will not be complete until this actually happens? Oh well, time to break out the grass skirt and coconut bra again. It's party time!

Sweet. My Brickworld experience will be complete as well as my journey to the dark side.

Okay - this conversation is on the downhill slope already...so, I will push it a little closer to the "edge".

Simple quesiton: Has anyone ever constructed a vignette of a LEGO minifig strip club?

Another simple question: If we constructed a life size dancing pole out of LEGO, would it hold together?

Is this about Brickworld any more?

Well, actually I sort of have Brian. The Maneaters Club was featured in my Darwin Awards entry and you could say that Chris took the shaft in the worst way possible in that one. Kelso was seen workin' it too.

Dave did a freekin' awesome Moon Base style strip club for the MOC Olympics....it will be at Brickworld and it is a "must see" - trust me :)

Though not a strip club, Phipson is contributing to our layout with an impressive massage parlor aptly titled "Happy Endings".

There is plenty of scandal to be had on our layout this year...YAY! :p

1. yes, Stacy just gave the details

2. There's only one way to find out

3. Was it ever really in the first place?

Well, the AFOL after hours events seem to be shaping up nicely. We've got the Brickworld Interpretive Dancers, and if someone's willing to build it, open pole night. Looks like Bonahoom's getting sucked down to the bottom of the barrel with the rest of us...

Hang on Bryan! It's a bumpy ride and there's still a LOOOOONG way to go!
