I had an idea about how we can get some activity going on this group! I just need to know whether or not we currently have an active enemy. If not I think we should create our own enemy. Even possibly do a contest and let our members decide what this enemy will look like and what technology they use. What do you guys think? Yay or nay?

Yay! Sounds like a great idea, Jason. An enemy always stirs up activity because of the 'fierce' rivalry. I'd be happy to help out in any way I can!

Jeez that was fast! I wasn't expecting a reply so soon XD Glad to hear your on board. Now we'll just have to wait and see what everyone else says... If anybody else says anything...

That sounds like a good idea. Sorry I havn't been active for awhile. I have been caught up with other things. After the 2010 tournament I want to try to make some more DA mocs. Arn't we still at war with E.O.S.? Or is that over now?

Ok, I am also in the E.O.S. group, I will check out to see if they still want to fight us.

I left a comment asking if they still want to do war. So if they say yes than we will have some organics to destroy!

As far as I know, we're at war with all humans including UTM, NEOS, and whatever other groups there are.

I do like the idea of creating a new military faction just to fight the DA. They don't even have to be human. I'm sure DA would love to destroy aliens too:)

that's what i was thinking. Starting a contest for creating this new faction and their technology. After that we could even do another contest for battle scenes between the DA and this new enemy... or something like that :)

It's HARD! It takes alot of building and rebuilding to get a transformer to look right. My biggest tip would be to make sure the robot is really flexible. Bricks with studs on all sides, c-clip plates, and pnuematic t pieces are the key if you're working in mini scale.

Mini-fig.

If you're going that large, you'll need sturdier joints that are still flexible. Exo=force joints are the best. If you don't have those, some kind of ball-joints would work (like Bionicle joints).
