Design of the Omega Book

What do you think it actually looked like? SotS's description was a bit confusing. Maybe it had a long curved spine? What do you think?

I know Ewen will disagree with me on this, but I always pictured it as sort of a spiral staircase coming up from the ground, only there would be about five vertical "pages" instead of steps on each rung.

Except it was on a pillar, (I suppose it still works) and more importantly, was described as looking somewhat like a book, albeit not *quite* like any they'd ever seen. When was the last time you saw a book that looked *anything* like a spiral staircase?

I don't know! The modern idea of a what a book should look like arose in 6th century Europe and 10th century Yucatan.
