While Indy has a specific, non-patchwork of music to go in, Adventurers does not. I started this to give suggestions of appropriate Adventurers music.

-"Casablanca Suite"

-Entire "The Mummy" soundtrack (horror parts too, I've been toying with an Adventurers/Mummy's Curse idea for years)

-Entire "Sahara" soundtrack (though a bit pricey)

-Entire "The Shadow" soundtrack, especially Shiwan Khan's theme

-Jauntier parts of the "Jurassic Park" soundtrack (for the Dino Island subtheme)

-"Transylvanian Lullaby" from "Young Frankenstein" (Hey, who says there can't be an Adventurers/Universal Monsters crossover)

-"The Great Train Robbery" (Great! Should be the Adventurers main theme! Look out Indy!)

-Most of the "Congo" soundtrack (Goldsmith is on par with Williams, no doubt)

Your thoughts? Any others? (All of those are avalable on iTunes, by the way).

That's a nice selection, well, the ones I know. But I absolutely LOVE four themes from Indy:
1.Raiders March(Indy's theme)
2.Short Round's Theme
3.Keeping up with the Joneses
4.Indy's First Adventure(Young Indy in LC)
You can listen to all of them and more on the Indiana Jones site.

I don't have any Adventurers Egypt tombs or stuff like that, but from what I see, some of the badly-named pieces of music from the Twilight score would do quite nicely.

No, sorry. Can you show me where?

P.S.:This doesn't really pay relevance to this group or to Lego WHATSOEVER *deep breath*...
Ever ever of the new game for Nintendo DS, The Legendary Starfy? Just picked it up at target, and IT IS AWESOME! You walk and swim around as a little starfish who beats up enemies, while regaining a little space bunny's memory!!!
(Once you get past the kiddie aspects of it, which is about 75%, it's pretty good)

I thought the original film (1999) had a better soundtrack.

It is just a matter of opinion.

I often play background music when Dungeon Mastering my Dungeons & Dragons games. I usually play soundtracks from fantasy-themed films like Lord of the Rings, Narnia, & Pirates of the Caribbean. I also would recommend certain tracks from Dragonforce, Rhapsody, and Nightwish.

Dragonforce, Rhapsody and Nightwish would be great! As would Sonata Arctica and some Ayreon.

There's a classical music piece called "Firdausi" that has a very Oriental sound, you know, for Adventurers.

Besides some of the above mentioned Hollywood movie soundtracks, some Romantic era symphonies by composers like Tchaikovsky and Brucker provide good inspiration for building a LEGO model of a mysterious ancient ruin. Many of John William's soundtracks (in my opinion) have been influenced by Tchaikovsky, Wagner, and Stravinsky. Baroque (Bach) or Classical (Mozart) remind me too much of European royal or aristocratic life to be of much use for this purpose.

These soundtracks will all be used in my future stopmotion film 'The Raiders of the Dead' (filming started today)
:
The mummy returns
The magnificent seven
Indiana Jones (the map room)
Jurrasic park

Plus there two in small parets of the movie:
Indiana Jones (truck chase)
The good, the bad and the ugly

they are all superb soundtracks, especially the magnificent seven. its THE best soundtrack ever

Dream Theater's cover of "To Tame A Land" and "Stargazer". I find they are great for Egyptian and Arabian archeology.
