I thought, perhaps, upon seeing the name of the group that it might also make a nice place to talk about lego IN New York City... Like local clubs, meetings, or even public displays that end up arriving here briefly. Thoughts?

I agree on this. I'll add abit more to the discription of the group and hopefully some more people including local New Yorkers will join.

Finally taking a look at the conversation at the New York City Group. About the group picture I can certainly propose my only NYC creation, the ESB. Or anyone's... it just seems odd that a group with a name like that wouldn't have a picture - besides, it is the only group I belong to that doesn't have one. Otherwise, I am looking for a NYC building to make. Which one - in the most recent ones - would be cool to make?
Anyone?

I'll use your Empire State as the picture then, how about One Bryant Park?, 4 Times Square?, 7 World Trade Center?, One World Trade Center?

Truly an honor to see my ESB moc used as the group's icon. Thanks.
Four Times Square is a good suggestion. Liking its asymmetric design. A puzzle worth studying. A great excuse to go brick shopping...

My wife used to work in 4 Times Square... it would be cool to see a LEGO model of it! (Especially by an architecture guru like yourself.) :)

Just posted my W.I.P. for the World Financial Center! This has been a long time in-the-making and I can't wait to get it into physical bricks! I'm planning to unveil the finished product on May 19th at my LUG's upcoming show.

I've been following the updates on Brickshelf since you started them. I was interested in how you planned to do the Winter Garden Atrium and I see the solution you came up with. Very nice work all around as always. :D

Hey guys. Just added my World Financial Center model to the group. This model is ten months in the making and is my largest to date at more than 22,000 pieces!
