September update:

- Loads of new rods added to the group - well done to all the new entries.

- Some changes to the rankings in the Elite Members section, with a few people increasing their score to 2, 3 or 3+.

- One new Elite Member (Senator Chincilla) - who I should probably have added ages ago! - taking the total to 48.

Hi all!

I am working on a hot rod transformer, what does anyone think I should name it?

I guess "Hotrod" would be too obvious, it depends on the type of car and if it's an Autobot or Deception. Most of the good names are taken already though. Name it after a car part (like Crankshaft or Titanium Valve Spring) then look it up in the Transformers Wiki. You could try automotive forces as well like Twist Force (a reference to torque) or Down force. Ultimately it's up to you.

For those in th UK; check out 'Speed Dreams' on BBC iPlayer. It's mostly about bikes, but is still a great insight into Bonneville racing, loads of hot rods there of course
