I have been doodling with the idea of putting up a series of how to articles on how to build a S.H.I.P. (seriously high investment of parts). Ever since some of the old school builders who were well known for building SHIPs over 100 studs in length have disappeared, and since the SHIPyard went down, There have been fewer and fewer megalithic SHIPs.
As I am almost done with my own SHIP that comes in at 120 studs, I reflect that I have learned a lot, and thought I could share what I learned over the past year from many different sources across the Lego building world.
What do you think? Is it worth it to you guys? Anyone want to see what I have discovered? Let me know.
