Bionicles lost their appeal after the Toa Metru, in my opinion. I'd have to go with Lego Star Wars, great sets from a great series. I got the Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon, but I don't have anywhere to put it yet!

Deffinitly Bionicle. I mean Star Wars is great and all but the sets seem repetitive after a while. There are still some great sets but only a few. Bionicle is Awesome. Fully Customizable figures. Honestly guys.

I think that it's the other way around, Bionicle's very repetitive. I mean, Bionicle has about 10 different sets of Toa, all similar characters with different masks and different colors, but otherwise very similar. Also, the quality of the sets has declined in my opinion, the original Toa were way cooler looking than the new ones.

Bionicle isn't even really Lego. I mean, it's made by Lego and all, but it's hardly compatible with Lego to begin with. Lego to me is creating something from bricks, plates, slopes, etcetera. I think the Bionicle fans should try building those figures using Lego pieces! Put your skills to the test...

we all got differant opinions, personally id say bionicle mainly because i have no other type of legos, i think the stories are lame though and i always wish i were the one that could come up with them

I'd have to say lego starwars. Bioncle just doesn't seem to have the building possibilities that regular bricks do, but that's just me.

Strange comparison, they're so different - if anything you could compare Bionicle to Exoforce maybe.

I personally don't understand what Bionicles are. They all look like big monster things made of chunky parts, and unfriendly, too. I can't find a use for most parts, either.

But then, Star Wars doesn't really appeal to me, either. Mostly because I don't like those movies. And a spaceship made out of 4000 gray bricks is not very exciting if you don't know the movie it is based on....

lol, they both ARE lego anyway... Yet the best stuff I saw in bionicle sector combines Bionicle to Technic, and even classic lego, like Cameron G's stuff here

However, even with bionicle alone you can cover an astonishing range of biological and fantastic shapes, from insects, amphibians, dragons, and of course humanoids of nearly any size and shape. I like Puckett's combined stuff here

Personally, I like both Star Wars and Bionicle, but I had to choose betwheen bricks and ball joints for reasons of budget :( I love combining Bionicle and Technic to build large poseable figures, like this

my biggest so far :)

Well I disagree about you're first sentence. I do not think of Bionicle as Lego. It is more like action figure with assembly required, sure they are made by Lego but I do not think of them AS lego. Also Starwars is infinitely better.

Bionicles are hardly lego. They're more like custom Technic with their ball joints and various Technic pieces. You really can't compare the two. I'd have to go with Lego Star Wars :)

I used to like bionicles, but they took up too much room, was too expensive, and you couldn't really fight with them. I now hope I never see another bionicle again, and I like lego starwars a LOT better.

Bionicles WOOOOO
I did use to like starwars but then i got a bit bored there wasnt realy a great story line behind it and also bionicle makes new peices unlike starwars which is normal lego all they do is find new ways to put peices togerther and sell them to people when they could make them themselves

Screw you! Galidor sucked harshly... and Bionicle can kick some axx! Especially mixed with bricks, but only in the right place....
