oh yeah ... i definitely like building my own stuff, and writing stuff up for my mocs ... but i also like building kits.

I really do like to, but I have very little of the colors I would need, so I have to rely on the limited pallet of LDD.

If you do not have certain colors, improvise. If all you have are all the colors of the rainbow except for what you need, coordinate the colors. If that does not help, the people on MOCpages are patient and enjoy design over color scheme. I have seen an Abrams tank far superior to mine, and it was multicolored.

You like writing stuff for them? have you considered joining the Bionicle Bard Hall? It's a group I started for storywriters, but it's too small :(

Speaking of making my own Legos, I am currently working on cloning some Brickarms pieces (i.e. Needler, M4, etc.) as well as making some of my own custom resin pieces. They (at least the BrickArms clones) AREN'T going to be sold because I'm not in the mood for a lawsuit today.

I bought a moldmaking kit at my local Hobby Town. Quite easy to use. I think my first two custom things would be my ARS-99 Assault Rifle sketch, and a Halo Energy sword.
