Clone Walker Battle Pack Question

From those who have bought them, do you think I should go out and buy two or three, or one and a droid bomber? Thanks for the help.

Look, it's not like I'm doing some bad paint jobs and calling them " mez cuztumz clone warz dudz" and for whatever reason you think any Star Wars lego builders are "bad" or "uneducated" or "unskilled" doesn't matter to me. I happen to like the new sets, and I probably won't even post either of them. I wanted an opinion on the sets, not your usual shower of complaints. I really don't know what your problem is lately on this site.
[for example:
http://mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=17&topicid=1564]

Oh, wait, it's all the terrible Star Wars and Halo MOCers out there and the peaople who forget to punctuate and cross their "t's" and dot their "i's." So why don't you just deal with the fact that there are gonna be Star Wars and Halo creations that aren't so great and some that blow our minds like this one:
http://mocpages.com/moc.php/29413
Brian K. is an amazing builder, and he has made some great Halo stuff.

Or this one:

Yeah, I said it. You "aforementioned arch enemy" Fed has a, well, mind-blowing creation. You might not think so, but when I linked that, 132 people did.
Areesta C, I don't like all the bad MOCs any more than you do, but please stop bringing your complaints where people don't want them. Quite frankly, I could care less how much you hate those two generas for whatever reason. Wow, that rant was surprisingly clean.

If you have no intention of posting them, go ahead.

You know, there is a reason I ignore NR on PJ; that is the same reason I do not like many of this site's members.

Actually no, I am the surpreme Big Cheese and Head Honcho of the No Moar Stupididiotz organisation.

We do not go on pilgrimages, instead we find idjits and burn them in accordance with the ancient teachings of the great master Ur-Stupeed Aye-roastu.

You know what I think? I think people like you have no creative talent at all, and are copying others (starwars, titles for a start) to make yourselves look 'cool'.

Creative talent comes from MOCs, not a name.

I am not just reffering to the name; if the moc itself is intended to replicate a copyrighted item of artwork, there is a very limited amount of creativity that can be infused into it.

On the contrary, there is a lot of creativity need to replicate a copyrighted object. Take for example the FN P90 or the HK416. Do they involve a very limited amount of creativity to build? I think not; each is so complex that it involves vast amounts of thought and experiment to replicate not only the external appearance but also the internal mechanisms out of pre-manufactured blocks of varied shapes and sizes.

I am not referring to those, I am referring to starwars: most starwars things are heavily based on official sets.
Or, if not based on them, they look just like the sets.

Starwars is a theme that needs no real skill to build in effectively.

I see. However, I could just as well build a Star Wars blaster with the same level of detail, though I'm not a big enough fan to do so.

Yes, YOU could. You are probably the best 1-1 weapon replica constructor on mocpages.

Your average starwarstard, however, is incapable of building anything that is not minifig-scale.

areetsa, you are wrong,it does require skill and creativity to build star wars, have you seen mark Kelsos Invisible Hand?If you say that didn't require skill, then you must be blind. And you say it doesnt require creativity to build star wars?If you look at it one from one point of view,it doesn't require creativity to build anything that has been built before. but,it does actually require creativity to find ways to improve and solve problems. Now quit putting down star wars so much.... - Hunter

I am not talking about kelso, I am talking about you nuts who lack the skill to build anything that is not starwars.

Just about everything in that section these days looks almost exactly the same, and almost all are made by someone with a mindless title.

Now, if you will learn to spell, I will continue to notice you.

If spelling is not your thing, you no longer exist in my eyes.

Areesta will you stop being so conceited! Evey single group you're in it's all the same. At least they try and build stuff instead of insulting people and trying to pick fights all of the time! I'm tired of it, now if you have something intelligible to say, make your ***** point!

You are a bit late; a while ago that would be true, but I am in a fairly large number of groups these days. Indeed, I am a moderator on one, and I have not made moves to quash starwarsers.

Unlike them: for some reason I was invited into some weird starwars group- 551st or something like that.
Anyway, five minutes later I was banned.
I did nothing more than announce my presence.

Anyhow, I do not pick fights: I wander about mocpages while bored, and occasionally someone will drag up an old argument and revive it.

You know, for once, I kind of agree with you Areetsa. There are way too many Star Wars mocs out there. I'm getting kinds tired of seeing them everywhere.

Well,off topic,but do I care?
Nope.
My opinion is,that there is way to many customized clone commanders and disco colored vehicles. But there is also many GOOD and AWESOME and FAIRLY GOOD Star Wars creations.
As you say Areetsa(kill me if Im spelling wrong)there isnt so much creativity in building the Star Wars ships thats already made, but you CAN make comics and custom ships and recreate scenes that hasnt been made by TLC yet.

Hey,not everyone knows how to build star wars.I mean I saw this guys site, and it was so pathetic,it made me gag. Now,I do realize your point, this site may have too many bad star wars, but that does not mean there isn't any good star wars!Just because someone couldn't build a wall of a star destroyer doesnt mean Fed is just as bad!I realize you think all star wars are bad because you've seen the bad,but that doesn't mean everything is bad!I wish you would learn that..... - Hunter

Buy the clone walkers. They come with some good piece (Clone Helmets, blasters, etc) that could be used on a more complex set.
