Getting to Know You
Hello all! I'm relatively new to LEGO and MOC and wanted to join the MocOlympics to meet some fellow AFOLs and unique personalities on MOCpages. There's a LOT of inside jokes going on in these conversations, so forgive me if I'm slow on the uptake.

My name is Heath "kik36" Flor, also known as kik36 or just kik. I'm 32, married with twin daughters of my own and 2 step-sons. I joined MOCpages in May after seeing a news article on Sean's Nintendo DSi creation. He pretty much inspired me to pick up the LEGO again and ignore those people who say it's just for kids. Now my whole family enjoys LEGO together.

My sins of choice are drinking and womanizing...but my wife is only on board for the drinking. Other than that I try to be an open, honest guy who is truly inspired by the multitude of creations found on this site. And I look forward to getting to know all of you in the coming weeks....while getting schooled in the world of LEGO.

Don't worry about missing the inside jokes; the darn things mutate and multiply like viruses. Anyhew, I am late in throwing out a warm tiki-torch welcome to MOCpages. You forgot to say what your building preference is; is it Town, Train, Plane, Automobile, Castle, Sci-Fi?

Well, if your wife is not into womanizing with you, maybe me and her can try it. Oh I am bad. Just kidding, just kidding. Glad to you see you on board.

Welcome! I'm 32 too, and I joined this year, after picking back LEGO only 3 and a half years ago. You'll make friends easily here. Just remember to make fun of them (I still find it difficult) :)

To be honest, I can't say I have a preference. I'm trying out everything until I find my niche. If I had to choose I would pick castle and architecture though.

My wife laughed and said "SWEET", but the dirty look I shot her dashed all hopes! LOL Thanks for the warm welcome to you and Yuri!

Welcome to the madness, Heath! Glad you decided to jump into the fray. Now dawn your ABS armor and prepare for the field of battle. We're expecting a blood bath this year! (...or hoping for one, anyway!)

*psst*Heath, watch out for Chris's mechanical enhancements. Read other topics to find out about them. Jack made a MOC of it too.

How hard is it going to be for a 13 year old with the intelligence of a 17 year old?

Actually I consider myself with the intelligence of the nowadays-average 25 year-old. Oh wait, you meant someone else! Ohhhhh.

I would not trust those online drug tests --> there is no "insert here" port on computers. Oh wait, you said I.Q. tests. My bad, but I would not trust those either. I took one, and along with my double digit results it recommended I take up high risk sports like bear baiting, non-parachute sky diving, attack dog training, and extra length bungee jumping. It also said something about the "betterment of mankind" too, but I missed that part.

Don't trust online IQ tests, you can take any number of them and range from learning impaired to freaking genius :)
