FINAL MATCH!

Months of blood, sweat and tears have all boiled down to this moment. 139 matches have been played, 118 players have fallen and now, its down to two. Your finalists for the 2009 MocOlympics are Kevin Fedde and Dave Sterling.

Gentlemen, you already know the rules. Your due date is Sunday, November 15th at 11:59 PM. Good luck to both of you.

There will be 7 judges for the final match. You will need 4 votes to be declared the winner.

Your Final category for the 2009 MocOlympics is:

Cartoon Express:
Those of us that grew up in the 80s were blessed with shows like Transformers, GI Joe, M.A.S.K., He Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a whole slew of brain melting BYE ME BYE ME sludge. This one is simple, find something from a cartoon from the 80s (or early 90s) and Legoize it!

Awesome... As a child of the 90's, this should fit right into where I am at.
Question, though. What if the show I'm envisioning came out earlier than the period, but was still on in the early 90's? (as in came out in the late 60's and has been re-run from 1992 to the present).
Good luck Dave!

That'll work! I should have basically just said "anything before 1995" like I did with the Atari category. But yeah, you're good.

Hm... I think I might just make a last unofficial entry this round-just to top it off. Man, I remember back in the early rounds where I half-expected Chris to choose Halo as the last round category. Good luck!

Good luck to Dave and Kevin, it's a good category, but not easy, perfect for the final ! I would have love to make an episode of "Cobra Space Adventure", but it's maybe too sexy for our younger friends on MOCpages lol

It's funny. Sterling and I were talking about how the entire competition, no one was really "rooting" for him and here he is in the finals. I will admit that one of my early pics for someone to do great in this was Kevin so congrats to him on that. But it's good that people are finally seeing Dave's true potential and PURE AWESOME TALENT!

I can't wait to see this last throwdown. It's going to be epic!

That almost happened a couple of rounds ago. But they couldn't have been against each other in the finals. The brackets didn't work out that way. Man that woulda been fun to be a fly on the wall during the round if that match would have happened...
