Quoting Commander Sean
I watched Star Wars in my early childhood but I didn't love it unti Spring Break '08 when I watched Family Guy:Blue Harvest.
I have loved legos since i was very little but star wars came more familiar when ep1 came out- first i didn't like it i thought it was sort of ufo-thing - but when my best friend introduced it to me being great fan himself i began to like it- and when sw-legos came i really was sw-fan- even if i saw actual movies some years later- then i was really fan and Star Wars is simply great moviesaga- i can't be anything else than great fan of it WOOHOO!!!! SW IS THE BEST!!!! Permalink
I was introduced to lego's (not duplo's or anything, the lego's we all use) shortly before I was 3. Like, a week before I was 3, because I remember getting some more for my birthday shortly after. Then, my dad got the special edition VHS original triligy back in 1995, and I loved them (although the Jawas and Emperor always scared me). Then, I discovered Star Wars lego in 1999, but didn't see Episode 1 until a year after it was released. My parents didn't know it had been released until then.
But wait, there's more! I never really got into Star Wars until my neighbour across the street, who was one year younger than me, revealed that he was into lego's. We combined our Star Wars to have these epic battles in our yards... A pity he moved away when I was in seventh grade. I entered a complete dark age after that, breifly resurfacing with those really early MOCs on this account you can see, then went dark age again for the summer of 08. Then, after hearing news of the new cl0n w4rz series, my old angst about how biased the Star Wars universe is against the CIS rose again.
So, I made "A tale of one world", a little story about the CIS doing good. And that started me off on the road I tread today. Here I am, making what I and many others consider to be one of the best comics on the whole site, and I have the cl0n w4rz movie to thank for it. Ironic, right? Permalink
I've been around Star Wars my entire life. When I was two years old, my teenage cousins would hold up pictures of Darth Vader and Yoda and make me guess who they were. I was first introduced to Lego when I was about 6. My friend got the old Boba Fett Slave 1, and I thought it was awesome. That was in 2000 or so. For the next 3 years, I didn't pay much attention to Star Wars legos. Then, when Attack of the Clones came out, I got the Republic Gunship and fell back in love. At that point, I was collecting older sets. I once again went into lego Star Wars dark ages from 2003-2005. When Revenge of the Sith and all of the new sets came out, I really started collecting. The past two years I have seen a huge bulge in my collection.
For instance, my 9 Battle Droids in early summer '07 rose to nearly 130 by the end of summer '08. I have always been fond of Star Wars. I hope it continues for a long time. Permalink

I was introduced to Star Wars at age 2 by my Dad watching the original trilogy many times from ages 2-3 with my Dad and without him. Then long before turning 4 Episode 1 came out and my Dad and I went to see it. He soon got the tape after it came out. By then I was a huge Star Wars fan. I got introduced to LEGO from sets I got as a young child from Birthdays. I kinda then lost interest in LEGO while becoming an above average athlete for only a year..... I somehow gained 20-30 pounds in a year.... becoming obese made me very self conscious. Later I grew A LOT, all that fat made me tall and regular sized. In between that time I was on and off with LEGO's basically a loner besides from my couple friends from my private school. Then when I went to public school for the first time things started to look up. Since there were more kids... more people I had stuff in common with. I kinda grew and was developing muscles feeling more confident. From 6th to 7th grade i changed a lot I grew like 8 inches since entering public school I am now like 5"5 taller than my Mom and tutor. I now do 50 push-ups a day so I am really starting to develop muscles which I can be proud off I play some sports with friends and play LEGO and War hammer 40k. I am entering 8th grade at the end of the summer and I'll see what life has in store.
I had watched the first 2 episodes and didn't remember too much about them, and I didn't really like them. They didn't exactly make sense to me. But in 3d grade everyone was talking about it, and I went to see Episode III in theaters (uber pwnage) with my brother. I have seen all the episodes in the correct order over the course of, like, 5-7 years. Lol. Permalink
When I was 3... yeah good times... I watched star wars Episode 1 in the Movies. I liked it, but I hardly remembered it... My brother used to be the "green guy" and I used to be "the blue guy" we used to hit each other with lightsabers. I think he remembered it more than me. I remember seeing Darth Maul and being scared and having nightmares about fighting him (being the blue guy..) lol. Then I just forgot about Star Wars as I got older... then when I was 9 I was reintroduced to it. I wanted to get a new psp game, so my dad brought my to target to get one. They didn't have the one I wanted so I looked around and I saw Star Wars Battlefront II for psp... I bought it thinking it was not worth the money, but I played it and it soon became my favorite game. Then when I was 10, my friend let me borrow episode III for the holidays and I watched it and found it to my liking. So then that's how it all began.... soon I was buying Lego star wars sets and other Star Wars things... who knew, I would become one of the biggest star wars fans. I'm the one who brought Star Wars to my family. In my private school (I mean in 5th grade) I made most of the boys in my grade like Star Wars and buy Lego Star Wars sets. I remember trading a red lightsaber for a minifig for a bag of chips with my friend. I liked when I didn't know the story of the movies then. I had so much to discover about the Star Wars Saga and the expanded universe... too bad it didn't last. Now I just watch the Star Wars Saga only in the summer and breaks. I have a feeling that it was because of my friends that I liked Star Wars(because only the weird kids like Star Wars in my new school, I mean I don't even know them.) Well I will always like the ideas of George Lucas in the Star Wars universe (except Jar jar) and that finishes it up. ~Moses Permalink
