If you want to add a character, post info about them here.

Stay on topic also. Info on your character only, so please be detailed.

Your characters must have flaws and they must be living, because ghosts have about a 2% chance of appearing in the story. I do not want perfect people in my story.

My characters are

1. A Goblin Bard that can't fight- Treblin Shortsong

2. A Human Ranger that is extremely ripped and unbeatable in combat but is a pacifist and depressed-Lainahtan Greatbow

3. A cowardly Human Thief suffering from a curse that afflicts him with extreme kleptomania-Jhon Lockbreaker

4. A Human Mage that is unmatched in magic skills but refuses to use magic (unless he gets angry, then he launches random spells everywhere) because he'd rather be a warrior-Giarc Steelspell

5. An unstealthy Human Ninja with the power to fly-Alexander Darkvoice

6. Giarc's pet lich-Nivos/"The Corrupted King"

7. Energetic Human girl with a vicious temper that's had to set off, she has control over wind and tends to be impulsive. Her friends call her "Lemming" because she's prone to walking off cliffs if she doesn't watch her step- Otlima "Lemming" Bladewind

Their current goals are:

1.Treblin: Become famous, earn respect

2.Lainathan: Find someplace where he can live in peace and quiet. (Traveling with the Motley Elites brings no peace or quiet)

3.Giarc: Become a Warrior

4.Jhon: Break the curse. Find the Forgotten Hoard.

5.Nivos: Help Giarc reach his goal

6.Alexander: Won't reveal them.

7.Otlima: Find her father. Find the Forgotten Hoard. (Yes, she loves treasure)

Gringat is originally a goblin sort of person, but I gave in a while back and Bionicle-ized his aXX :)

What about... Judas Galtheron. And Ex-Gladiator, extremely cynical with a serious drinking problem, but really skilled at fighting, and wants to get back at this pack of brigands who killed his wife and child.

Treblin originated during a camping trip. A bud of mine was looking throught the Pratical Guide to Monsters. A recurring image in the book is a goblin that is either fleeing or about to get owned. My bud said that it was just like a friend named Trevor. We began calling it the Trevorgoblin and it stuck.

Nathanial has a similar story. When he was a child, he watched a local warlord's forces murder both his parents and then burned his village to the ground. He ended up as a depressed pacifist. He's also skilled at fighting also. I might include Judas, he and Nathanial provide some good contrast.

Ya. Cos Judas is the sort of grizzled war-veteran type. :)

Can you change Nathanial's name though. It's really too close for comfort, because that's my name.

Didn't know that. All of my characters(except Otlima) are based off of friends of mine. Nathanial was based off of a guy named Nathan. He's buff, but doesn't like fightning at all. I'll change it.

Sure. Care to tell a bit more?

His goal is to get rid of his fears and to help his friends reach their goals. He wears leather body armor and a skirt. His special ability is spinning 360 degrees and firing lots of arrows around.

I also got another idea:

A Paladin who is afraid of blood and darkness - Aaron Goldtoe
His goal is to save the world from undead, but this is hard to do since he's afraid in the dark. He wears silver-gold armor and his weapon is a giant golden sword, which he has to hold with two hands. His special ability is firing a beam of light from his left nostril.

Can you please be serious. I want characters that people can relate to. Why a skirt? Give him a tunic.(long, loose shirt) The paladin is rejected because paladins aren't afraid of the dark. And the undead of Sirrush are far more powerful than a single Paladin can handle.

How was I supposed to know all that? And about the skirt: Yeah, sorry. It was kinda random...

If beast-men are allowed then, Byaku Kuro, a white wolf healer who is afraid of corpses. If no beast men then human is fine.

Won't bother me. In fact, a healer afraid of corpses is actually believable. Just give me backstory and goals.

For goals, He wants to keep his friends alive(obvious reasons) and find a place where there is no war.
As for a back story, he was kicked out of his pack because he didn't want to fight. He then begins traveling helping and healing those he finds in need.

This will be taking place in Sirrush, the main continent of a planet of the same name. The main races are:

1. Human - nuff said.

2. Elven - appearance of tall humans, roughly 7'-8'.

3. Fincayran - they look winged humans. Gender determines wing appearance. Females have angelic wings, while males have daemonic wings.

Other races include:

4. Goblin - see D&D handbooks

5. Beastmen - humanoid with the characteristics of their animal form.

Any humanoid D&D race is applicable too.

Oi! I'm not very big on having beserkers (warriors that can't be controlled once they start fighting) in the Elites. Jhon already does a good job at driving everyone insane.

Alright, I'll throw in another one of mine.

An Elven Warrior that's tall even for an Elf. He stands 9'6". He loves a good battle, however, his muscular body prevents him from entering spaces smaller than 5' tall and 4' wide. His weapon of choice: a warhammer so massive, only he can wield it. He's pretty thickheaded and doesn't understand "DO NOT TOUCH!"- Dinvo Tallhammer.

The Motley Elites are the protagonists. Albeit, protagonists don't have to be good, but the group suffers from constant infighting (usually caused by Jhon), and a beserker would not be good idea. Besides, the MEs aren't evil.

an insane Fincayran wwho has been hit way to many times in the head. HE was banished from his group, Pack, tribe or whatever Fincayrans have. he knows the whole continent like his own wing(he went so crazy he chopped one off)he has been alive for a long time and is excedingly agile for his age, he is almost as quick as an elf. he weilds spears with ease and is an expert with them. he has a mechanical wing.

In Sirrush, insanity merits solitary confinement for life.

The three main races all live in cities, though each city is usually inhabited by one race.

Gahhh... One draconic warrior is ENOUGH. No offense, but your character here has been done before.I read Dragonlance, your character is someone who would fit perfectly there, but in the MEs, misfits are who we are.

Dragonlance is a book series based off the D&D Dragonlance set. Well, I can't really find flaws. Exile isn't a flaw, just a punishment.

he has mental dissorder that allows for distractions to take over example he could be in the middle of a fight and sees something interesting over to the side and will stop in mid strike to investigate the thing that interests him that is why he was put on body patrol that way he would not afect a battle
