In my oppinion building mini creations is another "art" of lego-building. About mini-sets: I think minis are as ok as others but I don't upload official sets (and I'm not the only one)---so I try to build customs (and I just can't have enough skill to build minis---thats my oppinion.

In some cases, minis can be wonderful, I just finished 3. They are great for staging large scale battles so instead of one venator for example, you could have a whole fleet.

Agree, but in battles ( HEY I'm 19 and still playing lego battles next to the university of medicine) minifigs are essential and if u make mini armies where minifigs can't suit, the battle isn't good as large-scale vehicles...

hmm..i think minis are ok. they;re definitley fun to build, and its amazing what you can achieve with just a few bricks-but to stage a battle i prefer figs
