These are the guidelines for the minifigs of the last resistance of Earth:

Normal soldier minifigs:

plain light or dark grey torso and legs, preferably wearing normal castle lego body armour, only back-to-front (optional). they can also have a brown backpack. head wear is variable- though whatever you choose, it should have either a black visor or dark grey goggles.

for weapons, use the normal starwars rifle-blaster things with a black minifig hand attached beneath the chamber. That will make a L.R.E. semi-automatic rifle. Modern or futuristic brick arms weapons can also used.

Technician minifigs:

PowerMiner's torso and black caps. preferably dark blue legs (optional). They generally tend to have rather hairy faces :)

Vehicles:

main colours: dark and light grey, beige, green, and white.
designs for ground vehicles should be kind of bulky, whether it is a mech or a tank or anyhting else.
Weapons: The L.R.E. specialise in railguns. Not many energy based weapons are used, though they do have a fair few lasers. Also use missles, auto cannons, machine guns, and whatnot...

Make tonnes of airbases, millitary bunkers and space stations, if u have the time!
