The Elven Forests

I'm making progress in my new series,
at the moment I'm working on scenery in the Elven Forests,
I've made some nice set-ups already (eventhough I say so myself)
but I'm strugling with minifigures,
I have elves in armor and such (and I'm trying to get the forestmen minifigs)
but I don't know how to do the more important elves, which I surely will need in the story,
high elves and mages,
So I need suggestions on what torso's, faces,... to use on them

and when that problem is solved, I will amaze you with my Elven architecture, everything is made out of plants and trees but it looks much more elegant than an ordinary treehouse,
The Elven forest chapter will include one of my most beautiful diorama's

This sounds awesome. I would suggest using faces with printed cheekbones to make the elves look regal but this is really Christian's say.

The elven culture is believing in high equality, unlike the humans they wouldn't differ themselves inside their groups which are like brotherhoods. So council members don't need special clothes if you can't find. For the elven priests (mages) i always used a blue mage torso as basic.
As faces i suggest a little serious expressions but no beards or so. The old ninja faces were good or maybe the SW Skywalker faces. Haven't made any elven nobility yet so you're free.

I'm excited for your architecture, you descriped the forest elves accurate. I'm planning a diorama for the jungle elves, they will have own building style.

Maybe you can use those turible (spelled wrong to avoid the word things) flesh colored heads for Elves, because every knows Elves are the fair folk.

And what do you think of my extended map for the region I have taken to develop?

I think the flesh colored heads are reserved for the Shadow Elves (and they're also used on Centaurs)
I'll use yellow heads, since one Elf will join the hero, two different colors might seem odd.

I like what you did with those coastlines, cool,
It will take some time before my series takes place in the unknown continent though.

I might know a way to get a decent amount of forest men,
not easy though, I'll need to convince someone to search for his long forgotten lego and he has to sell it to me...or give it to me :p

yes, no beards, I somehow just can imagine an Elf with a beard,
I think forestmen will be the best solution, I don't have lots of similar clothing that isn't armor,
I think I have a skywalker lying aroun here somewhere, another ELf added to the group.

Btw, as for elves in armor, I tried to make them look like yours, I don't have a lot of those samurai torso's though but I have some old castle armor wich seems suited,
I have a picture with 3 elves in armor and a 'leader' (in a samurai torso)
http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=72216&id=/user_images/12746/12805691381
(btw, I can change the helmets to black if you prefer that)

this picture is located on my "hidden page",
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/72216
you can also see a small part of chapter 2 there but it needs some more work, I need to reorganize text and such, you'll see btw that the Elves in the scene don't have names yet, for now they're called "---" and "///" :p
I don't really know really good names for Elves,
the only ones I can think of are those from LOTR,
maybe you have some suggestions ?

Technically I was talking to Christian, attempting to get his attention, but thanks anyway.

Your river elves work fine, for names may try this:

And Awe, your coastline is added on my worldmap now. Nicely done, thanks.

Christian, wiki Legonia is truly awesome,
I've justed added my description on my Portalworld (I named it Disati)
I've limited the influence on the rest of Legonia so it can go on as a past legend for the Legonians
At last our worlds are connected (or were connected as I described)

all the other info I have on Disati does not fit in Wiki Legonia so I have not written it.
Anyway, I'm happy my world has gotten its place in Legonia (well not literally IN Legonia :p )

Thanks, i'm glad that the wiki is growing. DOn't think i'm not doing anything. There's much stuff i'll add the next weeks, i hope so. Just build some dioramas and my amazon fortress is standing half-done on my shelf.

Is there going to be an adventuring party? I think it would be cool if you had the main character pick people up along the way to find the sword. For example, he could get an elf ranger, an amazon warrior, a goblin rogue, and a wizard from another race that could help him on his quest. I think that would make it cool and give the comic a more adventuresome feel.

yep, that's the plan, the first compagnion will be an Elf, next an Amazon, she will lead to some funny conversations :p the Elf won't be there when the hero meets her but he'll come back later
for the rest I don't know yet which characters will join,
there will be contact with wize wizards but those will only give advice,

Anyhow this is how I planned it for the first series of chapters,
which ends with the finding of the sword
