2011 will be a great year for Legonia (if some are able to spend in Lego and time). At least TLC is producing some awesome fantasy material for the next season.

Under following link we can get a short preview on fantastic underwater creatures (Atlantis) for the underwaterkingdom i'm still planing and new ancient egypt stuff (pharaos quest) with great creatures and items for the eastern continent and its mythology. Also a lot of ancient stuff like pillars, amors etc. will come which would be perfect to improve some legonian cultures of the east.

Of course, new things for elves will come from me, too. Sorry that there wasn't so many sets this year from me, i'm low on time but over christmas at least the wiki will grow another step. (Characters/factions/mythology(eastern gods/demon gods))

Awesome! When Pharoh's Quest comes out we should add an avian race because of the beaked hats and wings. It could add some interesting diversity. :)

Technically, it's already out. I have the pyramid. EPIC! Yeah, the wings, the hat. The hat is a headdress, but there are other options. The Anubis warriors are epic, they could constitute a race of their own.

really? Where did you get the set? I don't believe it's officially out in the US. I'm really pumped for the set however... :P The Bird people and the biplane is the set I'm looking at. In addition to the small staff one.

They're the same flying mummies as the one in the Pyramid. I got it at my local LEGO store (LEGO Brand Stores and TRU have the sets, check bricklink or TRU.com under "pharoah"-which happens to be mispelled. But the Anubis Creatures could work too. And the swords could functions for a race's weaponry. They are epic.

Hey, can I reserve use of the Anubis Creatures (and the Piraka Minifigures from 2006)? I'm making an MOC with details about them, their life, etc, similar to Ystel Island but a lot bigger.

I'm finally posting chapter 2 of the series,
but I'm strugling with some word choices right now about Elves,
when I say Elves live in Villages would that be appropriate ? or do they rather live in settlements or town,
and how should I call the wise elf of the village, the village elder ?

Yes, I would agree with the term villages. I would also agree with calling them elders. You always seem to do the right thing. I would go with my instinct if I were you.

elders are fine, ther're tribes in villages and also nomads, so fine too.
For the egypt-creatures: I would like them to be involved in the old empire (as enemies, slaves or friends) so today they would live in the desert hazraddin eternos or around the califate's land of hatrapedi. The backround and history for this region is clean for now so i'm open for your ideas for these people.

Is my use of the Anubis Creatures appropriate?

Great,
as for the new Egypt theme, I was thinking to use some in Ark’tohl desert,
not playing a main role but rather background ruins; so probably I won't use the minifigures.

Anyway, I'm working on Chapter 3 for the moment, the Elven Forest,
I'm going to buy some "forest Elves" (from the series 3 of the minifigures)
