Creatures

I've recently noticed that there are in fact, more 'races' in legonia than creatures. (unintelligent life forms, that could otherwise be considered pets at some point.)

I'm working on making a comic in the World of Legonia, that will feature the life of an alchemist of the Skorpion Erimates. I would like to use some new creatures too if that'd be OK...

First The Cockatrice. Same thing a traditional European lore considered it, but in Lego form. I'm gonna post some pics of the (scale) versions I've come up with, but don't want him to be alone. To avoid a relatively small post, I want to include at least two other examples of creatures in the WoL, but what to choose?

Any Ideas that could increase the Fauna of Legonia are welcome, as I'm thirsting to build creatures right now anyway.

There are a lot of creatures in Legonia,
I suppose you mean creatures others than those in real life,
on that point I aggree with you,
I have develloped quite some creatures already, waiting to be posted,

As for adding new creatures to legonia I don't think that's much of a problem,
animal-creatures don't have the same big impact as a race has so I think you can easely add some withouth disturbing anything else
I'd say go ahead

Sure. Go for it. There should be a wide variety in the wilderness. I just never listed many because i'm bad in building creatures with Lego.
And i forgot to post my basilisk in a moc, you can see it in the wiki. There's much possible as long as your monsters fit to climate and landscape of their regions.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback, I'll post after the Christmas weekend.

Also, have you ever thought of Gnomes? You mention them in a few places, but are never seen as an official race or anything else? I'll probably post some concepts for an actual gnome race/creature, but it won't be anything huge. More small side-stories about them and their misgive.

Gnomes, kobolds, goblins, Gartenzwerge ther're many expressions for similiar beeings in medieval mythology. For Legonia they're all defined as subspecies of goblins. The humans can't even count their variety so they just call them goblins. We didn't described their races further so you're free to add gnomes, too.

One of the creatures I'm working on is turning out more monstrous than I planned, but it looks nice nevertheless.
It's kind of boring to make small time creatures, most of my attempts end up as monsters :P

Doesn't beeing monstrous seperate the creatures from ordinary animals? In the wiki i have both categories because creatures are more unique than animals. I may start to build some own soon.

I want a friendly no-man-eating creature but it has to look cool and that seems difficult,
the creature I have now looks like a huge anaconda, swallows a minifigure car with ease
