Like French revolution or succesful assassinations (Caesar/Lincoln/JFK) different i suppose but what if columbus would have never get permission and more importantly money to sail india and find a new world?

Oh, Columbus is much more important than any of those assassinations. Recent estimates of Indian deaths resulting from epidemics brought from Europe to the Americas are over 100 million people. If those diseases had not come to America, neither Kennedy nor Lincoln would ever be president, if the U.S. would have actually existed at all.

This debate could go on forever....if the Dinosaurs had not been almost completely wiped out, the rise of man may never have occurred, then none of us would be here.

Strange isn't it- they just... disappeared- that is a mystery that really makes me think that world is much more stranger than the scientists or religious leaders or anyone try to tell us...

They did not disappear. We have the fossil record of many, and their descendants are all around, they are called birds.

Scientist stuff- so evolution-true but not true as well- fish didn't disappear when some of them evolved to be amphibians- monkeys didn't disappear when some of them evoved to be humans- but don't try to tell me that T-rex just turned to sparrow and flew away...

Is it strange that something happened 65 million years ago and killed almost nothing but dinosaurs...

It is more involved than that. Many of the dino species evolved into modern birds. T-Rex was wiped out by a combination of events.

Again, not really true; numerous forms of reptile, sea and plant life also went extinct, they even surmise a few lines of primitive mammals died out as well. (Can you tell I like to study this stuff?) HAHAHA

Don't try to tell me that Triceratops turned bird either- no- birds were evolved from little raptorlike species but not all dozens of dinospecies evolded in to birds- that "combination of effects" is that mystery- also dinosaurs differed from the other reptiles so why only them were lost?

Of course but isn't it strange that no dinosaur survived- only birds that were different already- also as studying that stuff you should know that flowers and grass were not usual before much later times flowers were evolved in the very end of the Mezozoic but i don't know about the grass- i have heard that it is evolved much later but i read something about discovery of much older species of grasslike plants lately -dating back so long away that even dinos could have seen it- still there were lots of trees like palms and pines and lots of ferns that were very grasslike sometimes...

Again, they did not just disappear...sounds like Michelle Bachmann talking about how "interesting" it is that the last time Swine Flu was around under a Democratic president, except that president was FORD! See footnote.

Anyway, I hate the notion that scientists are all just lying to us. There must be tens of thousands of scientists in the world; if they were all in it to lie to us, at least one of them would tell everyone. Creationists go to the doctor, eat food screened by scientists, all of the products they use are checked for safety by scientists. But when scientists disagree with their view of creation, "Why do most people just believe whatever they say, and not question it?" Am I really fit to question these things?

Footnote: Democratic presidents-Swine Flu, Polio (kind of) Republican presidents-Bird Flu, AIDS, SARS, Legionnaire’s disease...

Ummmm. what are you talking about dinosaurs have nothing to do with swine flu ?!?!?!?!? or democracy!?!?!?!?!?
Are you saying that i claim that scientists lie- no that is not the whole point (sorry but english is not my mothertongue so i cannot understand everything) I really DO NOT BELIEVE IN CONSPIRACY OF SCIENTISTS even if some creationists do- there is no such thing- problem with science is - as it has always been- lack of knowledge- people just simply do not know everything- we have our own way to interpret (not sure if that is the right verb)the evidence left behind from a dinos or ancient civilisation etc. we know many things that can happen in small amount of time but when talking about larger amount of time like ten or hundred years even scientists can "lie" without knowing that they do- they have checjked the evidence but left one simple clue unnoticed and that simple fact can actually change course of history to opposite- like Climate change for example (No- no conversation about that please!!!!!) But in history some claim that pollution causes Earth to freeze but modern science talks about rising of temperature- because they have studied more closely carbondioxide- what really seems to be one of the reasons for climate change- still i cannot believe fully their future forecasts still there can be one or many things that they forget when doing those forecasts- things that can change the climate even for opposite direction it do not look very probable now but it is hard to say what happens in the future- never have any clear predictions or prophesies came true- some that are hard to understand had but it is hard to say it is a coincidence or not. Also your over american-centered world view makes our interesting conversation impossible for me- i cannot remember all presidents of USA not their political views and definitely SARS or AIDS have absolutely nothing to do political view of the ruling US president- or if it does i cannot believe it...

ANd i did not claim that they really "just disappear" i mean that it is hard to say and to understand why so big and so important group of anilmals were lost completely in so small amount of time...
