Hi Nellster, thanks for joining the group!
what counts as custom is anything from taking apart a minifig, and replacing its parts from other minifigs, to anything like making your own decals, hairstyles etc. What you do to customize it is totally up to you (for example, painting a helmet)

Also, the same applies with accessories.

Hi all you. I like to make my own weapons and things for minifigs out of non-LEGO stuff, like bits of wire and hardware. Ive just started learning how to make decals and stick them on.

cool, i also use non-LEGO stuff, such as the "weapon carrier" i used for my Proton Custom minifig, check it out! :)

I like it. That weapon carrier gives me an idea for an arm socket mounted weapon holder.
