Welcome. I made this group simply because I noticed no one else has. I'm Jason, also known in many places as RabidGoldfish.

Hi, I'm Keith, also known in many places as the guy who's stalking Jason... j/k :P I like this group because I like modifying Exo-Force models. My Hub was built from Stealth Hunter parts so it counts, right? :O

Oh, didn't you know? I eat stalkers for breakfast. Now I've got something for breakfast tomorrow.

*hides behind his Hub.ZX Spec2* It has dual Evangelion-esque Prog Knives now! It shall defend me from your stalker-eating habit and your Katanas! :O>-<

Depends on which set of equipment they're equiped with. But we shall have to see, won't we?

True.. true... I better get working on armor and equipment modifications of my own! :O

Actually to be honest, I've been putting thought into a Katana vs Hub.ZX battle and I think it's reasonable enough to say that the victory would come down to solely who struck first and hardest. Except against missile maniac. That pwnz hands down. :O

Well, thanks for the vote of confidence. I actually had a concept for a cgi movie short using the Katana to show off its abilities. As soon as I learn how to program cgi.

Hello im mitchell. Thanks for inviting me to your group! My exo-force creations aren't great (probably due to lack of pieces)but they are alright. Enjoy my creations.

Salty. Tender for sure, if properly prepared, but most definately salty.

So do you like the two figures I made (minus the fan blades on the 'stealth hunter 2.0')?

Indeed I did. It was a fantastic Remake. I redid the Blade Titan because I loved the look of the chest armor. And Kieth's remake was pretty sweet too. You should go ahead and post yours.

You make some pretty darn fantastic MOCs and your Exo-force ones are pretty sweet too :D

I hear ya' on the lack of parts bit. It drives me insane because I have three more epic mecha ideas but no parts to start building them with (I refuse to tear apart most of my models) :/
Permalink
| November 21, 2009, 12:01 pm
I only have 3 sets so the lack of parts is very annoying:( I might buy some more some time but i dont know. I think i also have that problem of destroying the sets

Ah. It's ironic for me. I have a box in my closet with what has to be a couple thousand bricks in bags. However, rarely are those bricks ever the bricks I need for models so they mostly just sit there.

As for the tearing apart models thing, I think I'm gonna start buying my model sets in duplicates. That way I can build one set and use the other set for MOC parts.

That'd get a tad expensive after a while though.... Oh well. Hobbies never come cheap after all :P

Hehe...this is the first group of Exo-Force-customized mechs. I do have a lot of time building JUST with exo-force. And it's been a great experience ( I mean, check my folders and get the math!) :D

BTW, I'm getting my mind busy with more designs for my cores; last one weren't too "good"...

Well, you see, I started this group, but then I left because I couldn't get anyone to join. The other admin actually got a few people, so my thanks to you!

As for you , L C, you are one of my most favorite builders, and I look foreward to seeing more from you. Thank you so much for joining here.

Hey, well, be glad you have bricks. If I took every brick I had, I would still not have enough to make a three story building.

I have recently been trying to upload some pics of a new creation. It comes up after a while saying 'done, continue'. I click on continue but the the picture text does not come up in the box. Does anyone know why?

Chances are, your images are too big and the process timed out. Try scaling down your images and then uploading them. I had that happen to me before with Hub.ZX Spec2.

Off topic, but I'm making a game that's sort of a combination of BrikWars (http://brikwars.com) and Super Robot Wars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Robot_Wars). Anybody here interested in something like that? Or am I the only super mecha fanatic in this group? XD ^^;

I guess I could have a look...do you have a link? or is it still in progress? Also with the pics I don't really know how to down size the photos, any pointers?

Ey, now, don't forget me. I mean, look at my Katanas and say I'm not a mecha fanatic.

Also, I get that same thing. Here's a helpful hint to get it going better. Only load 3 pictures at a time. It works well then.

Yes, you're a mecha fanatic, but are you a SUPER mecha fanatic? :P
I pretty much take the cake for mecha fanboyism (you should see my conversations on IRC. I'm almost ALWAYS talking about Gurren-Lagann or GaoGaiGar x.x ) so I just wanted to make sure this wasn't something only somebody as maniacally fanatic as me would be interested in ^^;

That also works but if you have a lot of images it can take a while.

If you have GIMP on your computer, you should google and download David's Batch Image Processor. It's an epic plugin for doing mass image manipulation. Definitely a must when you have several images to mess with :)

As for my game project, I don't really have anything to show other than a silly little advertisement webpage and maybe some basic stat formulas (which I'm still working on). It's hard to find the right mathematical mix to create stats for a LEGO model that aren't too low or high. Plus, I'm trying my best not to make the game too convoluted (like BrikWars kind of seems at times, although you aren't supposed to follow the rules exactly XD).

Im new to mechs but now that I got the basics down its really simple( just expensive). I feel that exo force revolutionized the way we build mechs so most of my ideas are fairly based on it. I got 1 1/2 mechs posted at the moment( 1/2 is just a redesign of original). So far i got a mech ill buy tommorow I made on LDD. Its suppose to be what I feel exo force would use as a multipurpose mech, construction and fightng. Its suppose to be made for a different group but if it wasnt for exo force it would probably be never made.
