Because I know one of you has seen a swiped MOC and didn't know how to take one.

STEP ONE!...
...Hope this helps.

Ummm, Brady. This is exactly the kind of thing we're trying to prevent here. Maybe I missed the point on this tutorial but teaching more people how to steal mocs may not be the best idea. Just a thought.

Chris, I think Brady is referring to a screenshot of the entire swipers page, with the swiped MOC on it -- like the ones I have uploaded to the group's "LEGO creation" gallery. That way we can see the swiper's info (user-name, made-up description of MOC, age, other groups, etc.) so we can be aware of certain members, as well as possibly having them *see* they have been busted!!

It is more than great that you, as a Mod, can delete the swiper's page, once reported and confirmed as swiped -- yet we do need to have visual evidence of some of the swipes -- otherwise the problem just keeps growing.

I am fairly certain kids already know how to steal photos off the Internet & upload as their own, yet a surprising number of people (even AFOLs) don't know how to take a screenshot/screencap!

To all Brick~Busters:

Like I have said in other threads, feel free to e-mail the screenshots to me at: BrickBusters(at)ymail.com
and I will upload them to MOCpages if anyone doesn't feel comfortable about uploading them to your page(s).

Having screenshots as proof has *dramatically* cut down the number of swipes on LEGO.com!
Even the moderators there know of Brick~Busters!
