You have to be specific about which creation was stolen. I can't just delete an entire page without VERY good reason.

Got em. Now, while posting images of official lego merchandise isn't against the rules (look at my black friday post for proof on that), copying copywriten screen images from Lego and using them as your own without permission is. This post was on the cusp of "almost" being ok. Just to give you guys the heads up on what's ok and what's not. Like I said, this one was boderline to being ok.
Thanks for the heads up though and keep on bustin!

Yeah well a guy pirated mocs from this site (look in November thread) and I tryed looking at it but it sent a virus to my computer and shutdown fire fox just continue the issue here! because I dont no whats up but this is suspicous!
If you think that someone sent you a virus (and it's HIGHLY doubtful. We haven't had one YET on mocpages since it started) through mocpages, then you need to contact Sean directly. Use the "help" link at the bottom of the page to report MAJOR issues directly to Sean. Permalink | December 3, 2009, 5:32 am |

The picture of the custom minifig on his homepage. He says: "
A awsome custom I found on google" Probably just telling him would solve the problem. Permalink | December 3, 2009, 5:35 am |

I left him a comment asking him to take it down. If he hasn't in a few days, someone let me know and I'll take it further than politely requesting.
It's funny, deleting a page is fairly simple, but deleting a single image (especially from a home page) is considerably more difficult...

Well sometimes people cant't always keep the same name on other sites like this is the first time I am Commander Hawke on a site! Anyway He might of posted this video on youtube but if we can't find out I guess Chris is going to have to make a Judgement call on this... I really don't think he swiped it however hmmmmm... lets let chris decide on this one!
He obviously did, watch the video, then compare the video's setting to his other mocs, there is a huge difference. It's also very suspichous that he did'nt write a description for it. And look at other things on jrdmovimkr's stream, now why does'nt he have any SW stopmotions? Why does'nt Luigi have any of those MOCs posted? The only answer is, he swiped it. Stuff like that is actually (kinda) ok, depending on the situation. What he's done here is more like a "blog" than "ripping off". There's a grey line on this issue. Basically, if someone is trying to pass the work off as their own, then it's swiping. If it's someone passing on info and NOT trying to take credit, then it's ok... Like I said... grey line. We can take it on a case by case basis though. Permalink | December 3, 2009, 8:22 pm |

It's been brought to my attention that this one is a rip-off. I don't recognize the work. Can anyone here confirm that this belongs to the builder posting, or if it is appropriated from elsewhere?

No Kevin built the original! I think you "arrested" the wrong guy...
If that's the case, then why is Kevin's moc deleted? Oh, and why is Kevin's moc number ending in 120 and the original ended in 111? Kevin wasn't the original according to the post numbers alone, not including the additional evidence that was posted against him. Permalink | December 12, 2009, 5:32 pm |

Well now, this is getting interesting. For starters...yeah, what Chris just said!
And I guess now is as good of a time to bring this up as any (although I WAS going to let Phipson in on it before "going public.")...
To eliminate some confusion, I started a MOCpages Black List yesterday, and will now be keeping track of anyone I have found to have posted stolen works, when they were posted, and a link to the culprit. This will be maintained, and if the same person is found to be a repeat offender, I will suggest to Sean that he/she be removed from MOCpages.
Let me just add here that we appreciate any help in finding these kinds of posts, but let's stay cool about it. Keep an eye out, but be careful about accusations, and be as thorough as you can before reporting someone.
Everything's fine now, but there's been a lot of activity here, and we don't want this to turn into a sport or a contest to see who can accuse who of rule-breaking. Cool?
Thanks, gang!

Actually, while I'm familiar with Justin Saber-Scorpion's work (AMAZING stuff!), I hadn't noticed the icon issue. Sorry guys, but sometimes it's best not to assume we know what you mean, and just spell it out for us. My thanks as well to Juan for the link.
I'll take a second look at the buddy icons. If Justin Saber-Scorpion's has been swiped, I might have the capacity now to take care of that.
Thanks, guys!
