Stolen from this guy :
http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/20655
I haven't found any trace of stolen-ness so far, but the background on this :
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/210919
is exactly the same as these :
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/147158
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/143051
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/140719
So there's a possibility of it being stolen.
I rest my case.

This person replicated the fine work of Matt J. ( http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/3938 ) TWICE without any credit. Because of this 4 VERY talented builders of the LEgo Fire Community are taking their creations off of MOCPages, including Matt.

Replicating without actually stealing images is (however reprehensable) not swiping. We agree that replicating ideas without giving credit is... to say the least... wrong, but it's not "swiping" in the sense we use here.

Everything else on this list so far has been taken care of. Thanks to everyone and keep up the good work! We can't do it without you!

So, just wondering, theres nothing that you're able to do about it? Even though its an EXACT replica?

Just FYI, Because of that creation that Commander Nelson posted, almost all of the Lego Fire Builders have left MOC Pages in support of Matt J. leaving.

I agree 250% on this. I brought the issue to Sean and Mark's attention (along with my input) and we'll get back to you when we have an answer either way.

I would much rather have the 4 great builders here than have them leave and the one "copier" gets to stay. Again, that's my opinion. We'll have to wait to see what Sean says.

Alright, I hope that you guys can do something about it. Thanks!

I got an email back from Sean and this is what he had to say:

"Personally, I'm flattered when someone likes my creation so much they duplicate it. I put a thank you in the comment with a link back to my MOC. Problem solved. :)"

He also said some things to the effect of leaving MOCpages because of this issue was not the best choice, and on that I agree with him. We're very sorry to see the builders go but to pack up and leave because of this...

On the matter as a whole, if someone thinks your (or anyone's) creations are so good that they have to copy them and can't come up with their own, really that's their problem, not yours. You all know what the guy did and didn't like it. Personally, I would have banned him from whatever groups you were all a part of and asked him to not have contact with you anymore.

Sorry we couldn't do more, I understand where your frustration is coming from.

Good luck,
~Chris.
