Round 5!!

Michael Qoyowayma VS Brickdoctor!

Dun-dun-dundun-dun-du-du-dun!

The category is ...

The attack on the Jedi Temple.

You are to recreate the scene from Ep. 3. It can be based off a snapshot in the film, from battlefront, or just how you would think the temple looked. (at the time)

You have 14 days to do this. It's due on the 15th of February at 11:59 PM. If Jet regains his activity, he will judge with me.

Okay so we have to make the scene in the temple, any size? What if we don't have many episode 3 clones? I only have 4.

Yes, any size. No limits, except it has to be LEGO.

Um... Only 4? Well, you could make like clones entering the temple or something. Or just the Jedi in the temple seeing it, or the aftermath...

And I suppose you don't have to customize your clones to look like 501sts... That's the only thing I'll let slide.. :D

Thanks. I don't like coloring legos and I guess I'll have to make do with stormies...

Hi guys, I've run into a major obstacle here:
I just found out that our church is having a large luncheon on Sunday, and then right after that our family has to visit relatives for Chinese New Year. On top of that, I'm busy with baseball priorities all of tomorrow. I'll probably be unable to post until Monday. (real-life calls, *sigh*)

Bottom line:
If it isn't too much too ask, can we extend the deadline until Wednesday?

Please reply. I know it's a lot to ask, but these are non-LEGO circumstances that I have no control over. (as in, it's not like I need more build time. The MOC is ready to be photographed, I just have no time to post)

Thanks.

I second that. I'm busy too.

Great! I believe that since all the contestants agree, we shouldn't have a problem extending the date.

NO. So you forfeit?

:P

JUST kidding, just kidding... Just wanted to see if I gave you a little fright... And sure; I'll extend the deadline... If it weren't the last round I probably wouldn't extend it. So, anyway, extension to 11:59 PM Wednesday, Feb 17th.

Get to posting, guys! :D

Alright, I have judged you guys' entries.

Brickdoctor-8
Michael-7

I won't declare the winner because I feel there should be another judge... I feel it's unfair for just one judge to judge. I'll ask Moodswim, and Camilo.

Here are my scores:
Brickdoctor:7/10
I felt that this MOC was just missing something, maybe a bit of brown and too much studs, however the Shaak Ti mold is amazing and it is quite accurate to BF2.

Michaell Qoyawayma:5/10
It's an okay build, but the colors are a bit unnacurate, I never really saw the temple as tan, the gaps in the council chamber are rather bothersome, the scene could have been a bit bigger, and only centered around Anakin confronting Ahsoka, this MOC is definetely missing some brown. However I do like the council seats and the sliding door.

In his defense, the Temple should be Light Nougat (color ID 283) exterior, but anyone who's going to Bricklink that rare and new color for a small contest is a bit on the crazy side.
