As of today, Saturday June 13th the coalition of planets has defeated the EOS. Henceforth the UNE are now enemies of the empire. All talk of the EOS is to stop even though their group may still exist, for all intents and purposes they are no longer part of our universe. All battle plans to stop the EOS have been once again considered as enacted and their empire destroyed. For today we turn our guns on our rightful enemies. Also if the support of all mods and admins is acquired I will be doing a major "theme" wipe of this group where mocs that don't fit the color scheme of the coalition will be removed. This is not meant to hurt any feelings it is just meant to keep some semblance of unity between our fighting forces.

Oh no...I am forced to decide between the U.N.E and C.O.P.....I just can't leave the UNE since that was my first faction in this universe. and COP is just awesome how it is maintained and everybody is a friend here.....I might just leave UNE and COP all together so then i won't have to decide. which should i choose?
nobody cares that i might go to the U.N.E?

If you want to kill me, you would have to pry it from my cold, dead hands....wait a minute that doesn't work.hmmmmm.....I would kill you, but i don't want this whole faction coming after me. IF you did kill me, you would go to jail, I AM in this army and also in the U.N.E's army too. Although, both my leigons work as Pirate Hunters(we capture those who takeover corvettes, luxury ships, etc.). So, in all, kill me and you got both factions on your tail.

Anyways, maybe we should limit the amount of our people in the UNE, and UNE in our group. I vouch for myself to remain a part of theirs, because... well, I can defend us from their insults in a polite yet me manner.

Ian wants a more unified theme. If you only have 1 MOC to contribute with the new rules, then it's still 1 MOC. And if you can't build Ian size, or even my size in grey, keep going smaller.

First of all why do we need a purge, It would get rid of practically my best C.O.P. mocs. It doesn't seem fair, I like a little color variety and white is bland. i think it would be a good idea to have the option of using several colors. I also had a dilema with oucho's idea of haveing c.o.p. in the title of every c.o.p. moc. I think if we say it's a c.o.p. moc that we shouldn't have to put it in the title. Granted I'm not a mod, but I do have an opinion that I think should be heard.

Well, I suppose individuality died a long time ago. I thought an alliance composed of a hundred worlds would have a hundred designs and that would be ok. Some of us have not the resources nor time to devote our attention to such things, and it's sort of like spitting in our faces and saying we're not good enough. Well, if that's that, good day and hope more respect will be granted as your enemy than ally.

If that's your outlook, I suppose imagination died a long ago as well. If we're one ancient space empire (like it says in the description, we're not a coalition any more, we're an empire), you'd think our navy would be unified enough to be the same designs and such. As for the hundreds of planets... Well, let's look to Rome here. Rome's main army was all uniform, no matter where they were. But Rome's auxilary forces were not all the same...

It's never too late to change a plot, my friend. If I'm correct, you only started writing the prologue a week or two ago.

OR, you can build something, then take it apart and build the next something you have in mind. Ok, I might be new here, but since my brother General Hyuuga is allied with the UNE, I'll fight with honor alongside COP. Oh, before I forget: What's our color scheme?

Well, our building theme is smooth grey, with dark grey details. Colors can be added to signify what army or fleet they're with, too. I'm adding that in there to be more flexible.

Which is my point... no? And if unification is what you want, then someone will have to set a pattern. Once one of that ship is built, it'd be pretty useless to make another one of that sort (i.e. only one destroyer could be built by one person) or else I could build one ship and continue to post the same pictures and call it by different names. You want imagination to die, I give you unification.

True, but I guess my main problem is, I really need this info from the EOS, but Fed keeps giving me these serpentine like answers. If that doesn't work out, then the book probably won't come out till 2010, if not at all, so I can re-think everything. About 1/2 of the book hinges on one battle, and if I can't get the info, then that's 1/2 of the book gone (it's the much cooler half). I joined this group because I felt I could get some more ideas. I tried to go as close to the scheme as possibe but have next to no grey pieces at all. So if I can't stick to the scheme because of a lack in grey pieces, BOOT ME! I wouldn't even care. Since the EOS started this group has gone further towards being like them: ELITISTS!

Maybe, maybe not.
When I joined this group (March, Pre-Skaborr),
the group actually had a more unified theme.
But as more and more people joined, the theme kind of "split", and became less unified than it was from the beginning.
This is probably just an attempt to re-unify the theme, not to become more "elitist" than before.

No I will. I am 100% against the purge because even though it isn't meant to hurt feelings, it will. The admins may as well give me the boot. H3ll, stuff all of it. I joined this group because I felt I could get some more ideas. I tried to go as close to the scheme as possibe but have next to no grey pieces at all. So if I can't stick to the scheme because of a lack in grey pieces, BOOT ME! I wouldn't even care. Since the EOS started this group has gone further towards being like them: ELITISTS!

well i see your point now and im going bye bye to this group as well then

why not try a variation on a theme, or build infantry or small vehicles or comics, there is lots of stuff you do without having to leave or destroy your creations

See, Anders has it right. back when this group first started people were kind enough to follow the color scheme and we had a nice unified look. this is just an attempt to bring this group back to how it was before. I mean look at the UNE even their worst builders try and stick to the color scheme. And even so just because your mocs aren't in this group doesn't mean that there not Coalition. this group is so diverse that everyone has their own thing. Its just that the fighting forces of this group represent entire coalition not just a single planets, thus some unification is needed.

Hope this smooths some bumps.

Then I quit. I'm sorry, but if you bothered to read it then you would know that I thought it unfair to the majority of people on the group. Some people might not even be able to build smallish with their grey pieces. Quite frankly, I respect Ian but really couldn't agree less with a purge. So best say goodbye to me. I'll just work on my own themes, or stuff for GDI.

And if you bothered to read what I said, you'd know I'm stating the Coalition military works like Rome's.

Tarsis Goverment (theme following) forces:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_legion
Local (non-theme following) forces:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_auxiliaries

It's simple. Those who can build to theme build the official military. Those who can't build to theme do the local forces. This hasn't been approved by Ian, but I'm approving it, because it gives you people who have no grey (grey used to be plentiful, once upon a time) a chance to still add your MOCs to the group. And besides, half the people in this group don't even do anything with it, let alone add MOCs.

Since the purge has to do with the color scheme of mocs, somebody needs to tell Draco Draconis that his mocs don't fit the C.O.P. color scheme. No offence if you're reading this Draco Draconis.

Fed is less active there, Andreas left, as well as other E.O.S. members, so what's the point of having a third faction that's not even active?
So... Yeah. We got bored of them.
