Now begins the end. In a feverish attempt to destroy a common foe, alliances were formed that are now no more. Those that once were called friend are now bitter foe. Once our strongest ally now stands our enemy. We cannot choose, we cannot say, who we will serve. Friends and allies were made, can they overnight be enemies? It has been said, that no one can fight a war without hate. Then how can you hate that which was loved? For if you have hated, he who you hate is your enemy; then your friend cannot be but loved. And if loved, then how so easily hated so quickly? This is more than can be debated in few words. And if once hated, then love overcame, was it not forever? Or can such be given and taken so callously? I think not. Then why? Why such hate after such love?

Now begins the end. Those here, many friends in each empire or system, now are forced to fight those they once called brother. Why must we choose? Are there no more enemies to face? Is this a travesty we must endure, for how can we overcome ourselves?

How?

The war, friend. The war change you. It decides for you. You are it's slave. There is nothing to be done. Just serve it's will.

[btw, I'm actually fighting my twin brother, who is allied with the UNE.]

right on man, and to answer the first post, we were fighting the U.N.E. for an age then we teamed up to defeat the E.O.S. while still staring daggers at each other, no we go back to killing something thats a lot easier to kill, humans

it seems these things do happen in war friend...though a wise man also once said "f course, he who seeds his crops in the land of the birds is asking for his doom"
it means that if we go asking for war and it turns out that they are stronger than us, well you get the picture!
sorry was i rambling there? i had an "old" moment! my hair is turning white!

It was an alliance of convienience. They were still not the enemy, but we both knew that there was no way for peace to exist permanently.
