Quoting General Kol Serran
I believe that although the UNE is cornered, we still may have trouble. Cornered animals are known for their ferocity, and to ensure our assault is sucessful, I wish to request of the High Fleet Lords and Emperor Ian himself, to commission a mighy supedreadnought, one rivaling the Fotress Of Silence in firepower, size, and durability. I would like this request to be the first demonstration that the 25th Shadow Fleet is a threat to be reckoned with.
I will state the statistics of this construction has been approved. I also request deployment of a secret weapon, one of most secrecy, to be deployed onboard this vessel in the final battle against the UNE.

superweapons have been made illeagal in this universe

It is not a superweapon, but it is a very powerful ship. And the secret weapon is also not a superweapon, but trust me, it's quite lethal...

well if u mean a ship like the hammer of thyr or something i dont see anything wrong with it if you build it yourself

This mod is cool with it. The Hammer of Thyr has an uber MAC, why shouldn't this happen.

not sure about the secret weapon though...as long as its like not an uber massive nuke or summin against the laws like that its ok

Now that construction has been approved, I will reveal this battleship's statistics:
Length: 40000 metres long
Width: 72000 metres wide
Height: 5420 metres tall
Weapons: 200 MAC guns, mounted at various areas on the ship. Long-range heavy turbolasers and energy weapons, 4562. Tactical nuke launchers, 600. Assault railguns, 2500.
KEWs and other assorted projectile weaponary, 3542. This ship poosesses the armanent to reduce an entire fleet to wreckage. The secret weapon is: The ionic burst emitter. This weapon can be set to disable entire groups of ships by killing their crews and disabling their automated systems, or fire a accelarated particle beam capable of significant damaging even a fleet. This weapon is mounted on the ship's 'nose'. This ship also has the capacity for 32460 assorted fighters, bombers, and dropships, as well as certain planetar assault transports. The ground army capacity is enough to overwhelm most habited planets, at a deadly total of 280,000 ground troops and 84500 armored vehicles. She also posseses 12 COP fortresses for planetary base deployment. I feel her fitting name will be: Dominance. A suitable name for such a leviathian, don't you think? Dominance will also be capable of peforming an orbital bombardment capable of reducing an inhabited planet's surface to ash.

A few problems: 40 kilometers long? 72 kilometers wide? 5.4 kilometers tall? You're talking about something the size of roughly half a Death Star. It can't be done, the Coalition lacks the funding and time to create such a weapon. Let's downsize it to a much more reasonable measurement... Not sure what though. This brings up my official ship resizing campaign, which I should post.

Moving onto weapons. 200 MACs? Reasonable, but take insane amounts of power. This thing will need a ton of fusion generators or the like. Turbolasers are scientifically impossible. The closet we got to that is the PlasmX the Emperor's own troops use. 2500 assualt railguns are possible, but still, a lot of power will be needed. Bump the defensive KEWs to 4000, that's more than enough to creat a nigh impenetrable flak feild against incoming fighters and ordanance. 600 tactical nuke missile launchers could be reduced to maybe 200. The secret weapons, particle beam thing sounds good, useful for sniping off ships one by one. The ionic burst emitter doesn't sound too far fetched either, though using it could be considered a war crime to the rest of the galaxy (killing thousands at once). It remains to be seen. The number of fighters, bomber, assorted other vehicles and troops should be decreased by a significant margin to get to a realistic number, along with the size of the ship. And a ship with this many weapons would probably turn a planet into molten slag. Emperor's Fist is a good name.

If I had the peices, I'd build this thing. I don't though. Need to bricklink a lot of stuff...

Tell me if this sounds realistic:
A giant MAC gun, about half the size of your average Star Destroyer, that fires 6 rounds simaltaniously. It has a big power cell attached to the back and it takes an average of 5 minutes to cool down.

Realistic, but you need the right materials and designs to build it. But the power cell outside on the back is really really *BLEEEPPP*

We control a HUGE slice on the galactic pie. We have more then enough resources.

But do we have the money? We need to upkeep that huge slice of the galactic pie, maintain our military, man the border garrisons, keep up the war against earth, all the while pay our soldiers and goverment workers...

Ugh... Funding. ALWAYS a problem. You can have your Hammer of Thyr, but I can't have one giant MAC cannon.

The Hammer of Thyr was built by the Thyrendi goverment, funded by the King of Thyrenda himself, not the Coalition goverment. So if you have some private sources, feel free to build the giant MAC cannon. I'm just saying this whole ship would be so expensive the goverment can't pay for it alone. It'll have to come from more private contracts.

Hang on.I just invented a new weapon. It features a hollow cylinder and four long flat pieces of metal coming off that in a square mkind of thing, but not touching. When it begins the fireing process the user must place a cylindrican lump of metal down the cylinder. Then the cylinder will start to spin when it gets to its top speed it will fire the projectile where the long strips of metal will becin to shape the warhead to come to a point. It is then fired fast enough to punch a hole through more or less everything.

depends. how much power it holds, wats the time delay between each mac and is it equipped with the proper firing equipment(onboard oxygen to start the fire etc.)

MAC stands for Magnetic Acceleration Cannon, so it doesn't need oxygen for fire because it works by magnetic fields

oh yeforgot! i designed the tech to slow them down as well...silly me!

Not sure. Bigger than an Imperial Star Destroyer, but it isn't the ridiculous (in retrospect) size of Last Resort. I have a feeling we should downsize all our ships to more reasonable proportions. Anyone agree?

At that scale, my MAC won't be nearly that big.
