C.O.P. sports

The C.O.P. has everything but no sports? How do the troops fing entertainment other than electronics, Legos and weapons? To solve this, I am unveiling a gigantic multipurpose arena for use by the C.O.P. It might be the biggest minifig scale stadium on MOCpages when it is finished. It will accomodate baseball, basketball, soccer, football, hockey, deathball, and wrestling.

Gladiator sports? Not like Roman ones, but a fight to first blood maybe? Or custom robot vs. custom robot? That'd be awesome to see on TV. And not like the homemade ones here, like corporate funded death machines that fight eachother.

No idea, I didn't make it up... You'll have to wait for someone who knows, I'm afraid.

Beaureacracy at work, you know? Wait in line for 30 minutes to be told we can't help you.

It has my vote. hmm I wonder who would NOT like robots being forced to fight and kill each other...

Built to fight, as in programmed that way. I would not approve if say, Varion and Fuse were forced to fight. But robots built to fight, programmed to fight, should fight. It isn't exactly smart to give a gladitorial robot free will... Too dangerous.

for those of you looking to the all mighty Deathball Arena, the cactus made it so there arn't really any rules, cept guns arn't allowed, and each player plays as a member of a randomly selected team, like gladiators mixed with deathrace mixed with american football (or rugby for us brits) mixed finally with good old fashioned killing

no, the ball is small, like a football, its actually a skull and the players kill each other to get it, first one to get the ball 3 matches in a row wins, its mainly about the death

Anybody remotely interested in my Formula1/NASCAR hovercars theme? Or are you too busy obsessing over Deathball?

I'm interested. No one seems to be interested in my galdiator idea either. And before you ask, I'm online because my school has a late opening today.

Any type of fighting sports, with prisoners as the fighters, and traditional sports that are'nt deadly for the soldiers of the C.O.P.

No, I like the gladiator idea. Varion probably wouldn't though. The gladiators not having the programing to chose whether or not they want to do it.

No he wouldn't. The poeple of the COP would, though. Come home from a long day's work for the Coalition and watch some uber robots pwn eachother. Sounds like a good thing to watch to me.

I'm all for it. We could make it like UFC except that in this no-one would walk away as a loser. And there would be weapons. But one thing I must say about the weapons-no ranged weapons. It looks much better when its all melee

Yes. And melee weapons only. They are much cooler.

Smart idea. I will make a track for the GalaxyDome when it's finished. So far, in the construction, it is in baseball configuration. Please check it out.

Sure. I guess that would work if you putt the ball with some sort of weapon instead of using a club.
