How to Construct Your Army

Hi, I'm back to give you all the basics of building a coalition fighting force.

1st off you will need some marines for your army. The coalition is vast and diverse its fighting forces are also naturally varied. So its okay if you can't get these exact pieces. Now to construct the basic coalition marine you will need the following:

1 - hoth rebel body (interchangeable with a tan Indiana Jones German body).

2 - dark grey arms with yellow hands.

1 - dark grey "crotch" piece.

2 - tan legs.

1 - dark grey biker helmet with a clear non colored visor.

2 - grey switch bases

1 - lego elastic of sufficient size to stretch from the hip to the shoulder.

Assembly:

Hook the elastic around the corner of the minifigs waits and stretch it over his head so it sits like a sash. Then sit those grey switch bases underneath the band so it runes through the grove.

Weapons:

The coalition marines arsenal will vary but there is a standard rifle.

You will need:

1 - dark grey binoculars non future kind.

1 - dark grey torch holder (the thing halo kiddies use to build there Battle rifles).

1 - dark grey clip with the open stud on the bottom.

1 - dark grey trans light blue stud.

1 - dark grey stud.

Assembly:

take the clip and attach it to the torch holder so it is snug with the bit sticking out the side. Put the trans blue stud ontop of the dark grey stud then attach that to the bottom of the clip. Then fit the binoculars on the end.

Happy building.

I whole-heartedly approve of this. Except I could build at most, one soldier of this type. I have some bricklinking to do.

Also, what exactly is the PlasmX mentioned in so many of your MOCs? As a man of science, I must point out raw plasma is much like steam.

I actually have 4 soldiers and 1 officer. Also PlasmX is a plasma weapons company the holds contracts with the coalition army.

Oh. So are they just normal guns then that have a pretty blue light on them to make the enemy think the COP is more advanced than it really is or something?

No.... they actually are plasma rifles.

Ah... I think I'll go with some Imperial ignorance here and hold on to my illusion that they put the plasma into shells that direct the plasma in one direction, much like a nuclear pulse engine, than just firing raw plasma in a short ranged flamethrower like fasion.

Well its more of a lance in that it accelerates the plasma in a narrow beam, much more effective that shooting out globs.

Yo Ian, I'm really happy for you, and I'mma let you finish, but I'm gonna go read up on plasma on the best sci-fi site of ALL TIME! OF ALL TIME!

That would be good for snipers but standard rifles should fire different. Perhaps rather than globs, a series of short narrow beams that fire at a good speed. The longer the beam, the slower it shoots.

I'm just saying how it works, as it says in my larger post "the troopers arsenal will vary".

Huh? I was doing a Kanye West imitation while reffering to: http://www.projectrho.com/rocket/index.html

I'm trying to find a feasible way for Plasmx to work.

So far, accelerating plasma into a beam travelling at relativistic speeds (as in, 50% the speed of light or so) could work, but that's kind of hard to do in such a small gun.

What about micro technology?

Alright. But I also have another suggestion. Perhaps we could use gas cartridges?

Here's a good article:

http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire/Essays/PlasmaWeapons.html

Looks like relativistic beams of plasma are the only way it's gonna work, unless it's encased by bullets that direct it in one direction upon impact.

Hey, that's good for armor peircing rounds. Shell hits, plasma bursts out and melts a hole, then the shell explodes and rips apart that area, then you can just shoot normal rounds in.
