Hello, Blade here today talking to you about the famed 'Steel Curtain.'

Let's take it over to the discussion(Or however- Nevermind.) center.

Ok, so many of you have read steel curtain and also p[_]n1sh3d by it.

Some of us(Me!) believe Steel Curtain is to strict.

Some of us love it.

What is your side?

I just urge you ALL to think about it, and wonder.

What side are you on?

Get rid of it?

Keep it?

There's a reason to that we're not a drama-filled group like the AOT.
It's Steel Curtain.
What was the COP like during the "High Ground construction crisis", right before SC was introduced?
*shivers*
There were drama, arguments, pointless and off-topic topics.
So ask yourself: "What's best? Constant childish drama or an organized forum, where you can have an intelligent conversation?"

*Last line was edited once, so flea-brains can understand*

Yeah, the fleas of a thousand camels.

Steel Curtain is what's keeping this group together. If you want to talk about anything, try joining the Forum and applyling to the Core

I think it's destroying the group.

In what way?

It's prohibiting(Or-) the uhhh... 3rd(?) law of the United States, the rule of free talk. Anbd, it seems to be turning(no ofdf ence) some members into mindless zombies, having no fun what-so-ever.

Need I remind you, this is a group, not a full fledged republic?
Look at it like this, Blade, you can either have 10 people leave because of steel curtain, or you could have 50 leave because there is no steel curtain.

That would destroy the group.

Nobody leaves groups that don't have steel curtain. Do they? I don't think so.

Steel Curtain is what holds this place together! It's our bread and butter, so to speak. We can still have fun being on-topic, like coming up with funny plans to beat the U.N.E. that could never realy work. And if you realy want to talk off topic, just go to Gmail or somthing.

1. If you don't like Steel Curtain, you can suck it up, or leave. Because those rules will only be changed if Gus and ALL the mods come to a unanimous decision, or our Great Emperor says so.

2. Do I look like I care about the laws in the United States? This is the WORLD WIDE WEB-not the U.S. Web. This means that different rules apply here. Also if people are breaking these rules, they are going against a contract that everyone has signed by joining this group. NO ONE is forcing you to be in this group. YOU chose to. This means that if someone breaks the rules here, if you want to look at it legally (Since that seems to be something you enjoy doing) you could be sued for breaching a contract in Civil Law. It's like if I lend you $10,000 to fix a house but instead you buy LEGO. You breached the contract, so I could sue you.

3. If Steel Curtain didn't exist, we would be drowning in our own spam. If this is removed, this group WILL go to the dogs. Arguments (like this one right here) will appear all over the place and chaos will ensue. That's why this world of ours is where it is. The dictatorship of the COP is what keeps us alive. What do you want, a democracy? then we should ALL be Admins. The very title of EMPEROR means it is NOT a democracy. That means that Ian gets the final say on EVERYTHING that is in this group.

Conclusion: You now have three courses of action-Get the rules changed, suck it up, or leave. Since you don't want to leave and you don't seem to be taking it very well, I'll give you the options for number one. Get Emperor Ian to change them or have Gus and all the mods come to a UNANIMOUS decision. That means that if ONE mod says, "DON'T CHANGE IT!" its a no-go. So that leaves us with Ian. Really, I want you to try it. Get EVERYONE in this group that agrees with you and ask him nicely-Maybe he'll do it! And if he doesn't you and everyone else sucks it up or leaves.

Footnotes: Something is happening to the group, I can feel it too. But it is not because of Steel Curtain. Also, for Off-Topic chatting you can in the general conversation or unlicensed talk or whatever. And there IS an advertising thread in here somewhere. They are being nice.

Don't like a drama free enviroment? Leave. Get out. Now. This group has survived this long because we stop the cr @p that destroyed your precious AOT or whatever before it even starts. You don't like that kind of control? GO then, go to your little groups that follow in the shadows of the one long lost to us.

Also, this is the internet, not America. And not everyone here is American. I'm sure our English, Canadian, and Australian (am I missing anyone?) members would not be pleased that you're trying to apply the United States constitution to an online group.

exactly, we obey the rules of the group, not of the country we are in, or the country our members are in

It truly is the duct tape holding our spice freighter (intergalactic warship!!) together, and we can all handle it if we just think of what were going to say before we say it. Thats a lot easier when youre typing it too. Lol.
Someone needs to make a Steel Curtain MOC. Would i be infringing upon SC rules if i did? Haha.

Ha! Ha! The only problem with that is America's laws do not exist anymore! Now there all goverment made!

Uh... The goverment made the laws, back in the day. And it's the 1st Addmenment to the Constitution, not the 3rd law, even though that comment is old.
