I wouldn't say it's too important. I mean, just about every sciene fiction universe has Earth as the center of Earth-factions, and similar names for things... besides, our COP is so much better than the Star Trek COP.

including the game spore. ive gone there, and even have colonies there, but i didn't get the achievement cause i used a cheat, and that turns off all achievements with the aliens you are useing.
