I was thinking that we could lay down some rules for the conflict, like the Geneva conference. I have a draft of the rules Here:
-----
1)Energy Weapons
-The use of plasma, pulse projectile lasers, and heat lasers is permitted.
-The use of Planet destroying Energy Weapons is prohibited. Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
2)Nuclear Weapons
-The use of Nuclear Weapons is permitted.
-The use of Nuclear Weapons against civilians is prohibited. The use of Nuclear arms in this manner will result in prosocution(See Crime and Punishment).
3)Bio-Weapons
-The use of Bio-weapons against both civilian and military targets is FORBIDDEN. Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
4)Blockades
-It is forbidden for any nation to prevent the basic neccesities of life (food, water, etc.) from reaching their adversaries.Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
-It is within every nation's right to halt the flow of arms and munitions to an opposing nation's forces.
5)Prisoners of War
-If an enemy combatant surrenders, his/her life is no longer expendable. Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
-Prisoners of war are to be give the basic neccesities of life (food, water, etc.). Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
6)Occupations
-Civilians of occupied areas are not considered to be prisoners of war, and should be allowed to continue to live in their homes and go about their daily life.Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
-Local Governments are to hand over control of the government to the Occupying forces in the event of occupation.
-Civilians who use force against occupiers are no longer cnsidered as civilians, but as enemy combatants. The Occupiers are permitted to use force against such combatants. Captured combatants will be considered as prisoners of war.
7)Combat
-The intentional killing of civilians is prohibited. Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
-If an enemy surrenders, his/her surrender must be accepted. Violaters of this law will be prosocuted (See Crime and Punishment).
8)Assasinations
-Assasinations are forbidden. Violaters of the this law will be prosocuted (See crime and punishment).
9)Crime and Punishment
-Punishment
a)War Crimes: Those who mistreat POWs will be prosocuted by a military tribunal, one from each nation.
b)Crimes Against Humanity: The intentional killing of civilians, the use of bio-weapons, and the use of planet destroying energy weapons will result in a trial by a jury composed of 20 members from different nations and walks of life. The sentance will be delivered by a tribunal of judges.

I had thought that the rules for our conflict was more like the following:

If its nasty and harms the UNE-DO IT.

If it includes lazorz-you fail.

If you speak against the great Emperor Ian -LONG LIVE IAN!- you will be sent to the Pit of Despair (Or the COP version of it) with no Miracle Max

Killing civilians is a sport of great fun - You've got to try it!

But I might be wrong. I dunno - we should see what the great red council members say.

Our only agreement with the UNE is not use relativistic weapons that pass 30% light speed, and have self destruction mechanisims for projectlies over 15%.

Everything else is a go. Even bioweapons, and nukes on civilians. You can even destroy planets, though to physically break one apart would need energy beyond anything we have to do that. Yes, the Death Star super laser would not work, unless it generated the same amount of energy in a few seconds as Earth's star does in an entire week.

Nothing quite like project-lies, is there?

One thing's for sure, I'm glad no projected lies can go over 30% of lightspeed.

Yup. I'm in a myth breaking mood this next few months. We're starting our unit on Disney movies in English, and we're gonna tear them apart. I can't wait, because I get to laugh at those people who love them then see them for what they really are...

I had thought so. Those lies can do some serious damage-be careful.

Uhhh....The Death Star is a giant particle cannon, not a laser...and it generates many biliions of times the amount of power the Sun has ever produced when it fires it's superlaser. And SW lasers aren't actually lasers - their particle weaponry.

So the Death Star fires a giant particle beam (no such thing as particle cannons, unless you can shoot the beam in tiny microsecond bursts to acheive that "bolt" effect so common in Star Wars), that can generate so much power in outdoes our own star, in all it's 4 billion year life (not to mention the 6 billion left)...

Yea, that sounds plausible.
