I don't think we know the location of Earth, but rezzing BTBG is a good idea.

Yeah we do, it was like YQP-3 sector or something.

I think Awe said that was before the great fall of the C.O.P.'s golden age, if we knew where Earth was we would have won by now.

Well, we know the general location, but specifics? Probably not.

"So Jimmy, do you know where Earth is?"

"No, not really, it's somwhere within that 20 light year by 20 light year cube. Apparently, YQP applies to everything within that cube."

"Oh, darn..."

Then we should have scouting frigates try to find it.

Had we not previously agreed that we DO know the exact location because we did pass by there and saw them about to waste each other with primitive Nukes. We COULD send all our ships in a mad rush and destroy them but that would leave us practically defenseless against any other unknown factions out there. Factions that maybe Varion needs to find out about??? Hidden by the government???

Here. But we definitely need to get this whole thing explained now. Before there is more confusion and delay.

Then the COP will know where the earth is when the scout ships fail to report their arrival at the next system in their search pattern.

And then mass supply from both sides will attack each other. And the conflict will escalate.

Already has escalated.
Both sides are trying to do each other in pretty energetically.

Presumably, judging by the name, an infantryman who commits genocide.

The Pact only affects projectiles and missiles.
Spacecraft drives aren't affected by it.

Of course, suicide ships are qualified as projectiles, but Slipspace drives as used by the COP work by shunting the vessel into another universe or something like that rather than accellerating it; I'm pretty sure a ship leaving Slipspace moves at the same velocity it was at when it entered.
