It says in my own description that we know where it is. But do we?

If we know where it is, we could just go nuke them and leave the whole COP defenseless.

If we don't know where it is, it explains how long this war against the little UNE is taking, going from one planet to the next looking for more of them.

What do you the people think?

I think we should scanner-sweep the area, then orbitaly bombard them. (next moc). Youll see...

I think we should start building a new, humongous fleet, waiting for the right time to strike.

The U.N.E. have grown quite large now. And how exactly can you destroy Another group without the group's consent?
Unless of course, they decide to base themselves in another universe or galaxy.

Something like that. You see, a fleet of ships carrying bombers (space/atmoshperic) use consentrated bombing and heavy fire on the planets surface, thus melting and or blowing a hole throuth the crust, out of with lava/magma will flow. With enough of these, the planet hardens over with magma and all life is annialated.

It'll never end, you know.

You might end up with the UNE without the E, but there'd still be an escaped government, a couple of colony ships...

Ian and Moffat'd never bring themselves to end it.

Even if they did, someone'd come along and make the New COP and Revived UNE.

OK. I had thought htat this had been previously cleared up by Awesome and a couple others of us.

FACTS:

It is in the Y-QP system-planet 3. Hence the whole Y-QP 3 thing.

We saw from orbit that they were about to destroy themselves with primitive nukes. we thought that they were no threat and let them live because that is the mercy of our great emperor Ian.

after a couple hundred years we didn't get close to their homeworld. we were stopped by ships and told not to venture further. after asking them if they would willingly become part of our empire, they refused. That is an act of war-THEY SPOKE AGAINST IAN! the war has commenced

Conclusions and Explanations.

As said by Awesome if we KNOW where it is, why don't we get there?

With our advanced tech we could probably send all of our ships in a mad rush and destroy them all. However we would be left defenseless against other threats. The Space-mass that we could defend would be much smaller. some other faction would rise out of the dust (much as we did) and become the major power in this galaxy. We would become a thing of the past.

Dr. Ogini has written his quite famous works and says that there IS no faction in this galaxy that would dare attack us after that feat of strength. He suspects that there might be some large threat that no one except the High Red Council Members and a sellect other few know about.

i reckon not, we know roughly but sensors are destoryed very quicky, if you think, they have a big fleet in a small area, so probes and things of that sort couldn't get deep to earth as they are so tightly packed together for us to SPIEEEE!

I say not. It's better if we don't know where there hidey hole is. That way we can fight and fight and fight until in 25 billion years, their sun destroys their planet, and then we wipe out the colonies. YAY COP!

"For soon enough, we came across a planet called ‘Earth’, YQP-3 by our charting system. At first, we bypassed it, only primitive ape creatures about to destroy each other with basic nuclear weapons. This was our greatest mistake. Within a few hundred years, these barbaric creatures were spreading their filth across our galaxy. "

Unless we maybe lost the coordinates or something... And Earth must have changed a lot? Perhaps it's uber-guarded, cuz like you said, otherwise why don't we just attack it?

The cause of this thread was to find out if we really know the exact location or not, by popular vote. Evidence is not needed, but reason is...

The question is, do we retcon ourselves or not?

Retcon? I should know the meaning of that word or not?

Once again, if we have the chart name (YS-3 was it?), I say we know where it is... (I know, evidence ain't needed...)

Well most people say we know where the Earth is, even some in the U.N.E (Roboman) well it seems logical to me, just that it's too well defended to be invaded.

Well, the thing is, according to our other histories (almost entirely written by me), we have billions of troops we could muster within half a decade. If we have that much force, then we don't we take it and crush Earth directly?

But if we don't know where it is, it gives us the reason why this war drags out like it does (other than that it's a lego faction war).

I dunno... Maybe Earth is sorta dead, if they polluted it too much in the past? And now they've moved?

And otherwise, if we crushed it, in the COP 'real life', there would be no war, they'd have peace! That would be TERRIBLE!

oh... I see now, I'll just say it's too well protected or that if we send all our troops to invade the Earth we might lose some other valuable planets in different sectors.
