First of all, if the figure it going for 8.00, then most others are selling it for more.
Secondly, the figure must be rare for it to be sold at that price, or at least valuable.
COP troopers will be around 2.50 for the normal white ones, and about 4.50 for the troops with the 'nades and all the bells and whistles. Varion'll be around 8.00, and my Coalition Variant will be about 24.99-29.99.

Except Phaze's hardsuit has a lot more specialty parts than that set. Tank droid has those treads and maybe those disks, and some other bits. Phaze's hardsuit is fully loaded with bits that would be much more useful to people like me who tend to stray on the do-it-yourself side of the Lego spectrum. Permalink

Yes, but would you rather pay 24.99 for a set you might not want, or just 7.50 for the fig you want, hmm?
Hmm... Let's see. I don't have any droids (wich it has) and I don't have any jet packs (wich it has) AND it comes with more treads. But I would rather pay $4.50 for a fig in good condition than to pay $7.50 for a fig that's got a bunch of scratches and busted accessories. Besides. I'm probably gonna buy a lot of 14 Floodlights for $0.04 so yeah. THAT'S cheap. Permalink
I could make the Coalition Sniper and Coalition Trooper 00 if I get 2 more white helmets (I only have one but it broke at the mouth part. But yeah. I could buy those... Since they're cheap... Permalink
Areetsa, you're close.
I have COP stock already, without having to pay a single penny. When that sells, I'll use a slight amount of my profit to buy more stock, sell it at a Premium, and continue doing that.
Oh, and 1-2 dollar profit might not be alot, but think about it, it's 1-2 dollars profit PER FIG. I've got....9 COP figs in there, with a total net of about 25 bucks. then I can use...6 or 7 dollars, maybe ten, and invest in more options for my store.
It's rather simple, really.
Although, the parts you used to finance your store are conidered capital, So you have to make up the price you payed for those whenever you bought them to truly begin making a profit. Permalink

Seriously? You have TEETH, and he has a chunka fuzz! You're backing down from him?
The quote window included his new title list, so, by saying 'I'm sure it's nothing' I believe, by most standards, I was being sarcastic. I think.
I've never really figured out exactly how sarcasm works. I can usually spot it when I see it, though.
Of COURSE I know you're kidding, I mean, I've got this big list of honorary titles and ranks on my homepage: "Elite Arc Super Sturm Kommando, Comrade Commander, Cloned Presidential Emperor SuperKing, Lord and Admiral of the Five-Hundredth-and-Forty-Second Starfleet, Duke of Edmondburg, Supreme Head Honcho and Big Cheese of Teh UbER gRoup" and it's just a hair short of the cutoff point.
I'm pretty sure I can see the line between earnest clonetardery and sarcastic mockery. Permalink
