I imagine a Coalition throne room to be like a huge cathedral.
Though it's up to the Admins, I guess.

Well, the Imperial Sanctum is kinda big. Like two thousand foot tall, mile long entry hall decorated with 40,000 years of tributes to our victories. Then there's another hall like that, a little smaller, with statues of our fallen heroes. Then comes the throne room, where the council of old met, but now the Emperor supposedly sits in there... Very few have entered that room. I imagine it's like the Coliseum in Rome, but twice as big, and gold, with a giant chair at one end.

The coalition isn't actually a coalition anymore, it's an empire, spanning a quarter of the galaxy.

Gold is boring. How bout a giant hollowed out Thyrendi core crystal used to project holograms to make the Emporer and his surroundings look however he wants them to due to a neural interface on his head. Which would explain why nobody knows what the emperor looks like.

Whoa...

I'm using that. But with gold, too! Gold is the de facto color of the COP, after grey, white, and black, all of which aren't really colors but shades.

You forgot to bring up the case of Mr. Gold-Jaw Man.

Because he can write a Bad Romance.

Just like me!

Which is why I wouldn't care if half my face got burnt Harvey Dent style and I got to wear a gold mask and be awesome like that.

Hallucinations, delusion and megalomania are common among skin-type Cylons and a sign of severe damage to the Cylon cloning systems.

There's a lot of rooms in the Imperial Sanctum... I wonder what could be in them all? I mean, only a little bit is put aside for government business... Leaves one wondering about the others.

I would think that it would be up to our Holy Emeror to decide what the throne looks like.

I agree with spaz, no gold. try some walls made of crystal taken from a glorious conquest of the Skaborrs and Thryendi, though they regrouped in the Thryendi Frontier after we barged into their system.

The Thyrendi were not subject to a brutal occupation. They were a founding race, and king that resisted re-unification was deposed of by the current house of Zacynthus, and after a short war capitulated to the COP. Thus, the crystal was most likely a gift, not taken from them.

speaking of that, if the thryendi are a COP ally, wut other COP sub fractions are there, and is there a group for the thryendi?
