Dear Fellow members i have an idea come to me, since our most recent and unessacary spam attack on our most hawt of forums i believe that we maybe either need another admin (the most power means that they can work while others rest or at least power nap or some more mods although not as much could get done with more mods.
For admins i have some suggestions i believe either myself, BK, warren or some more of the european active mods as then more of the timezones are covered then.
That is my suggestion, decide and judge accordingly to your own concience

We've had much spam in the past, and it doesn't seem to have affected us as a group (except for the "High Ground Construction Crisis", which gave us Steel Curtain).
So I don't think we need more Admins, let's just keep track of who breaks the rules, and proper action will most likely be taken.

I like how you put Warren :D. But yes this is a good Idea, I single handedly deleted an entire spam topic about an Allience.

You may not realize it but I do read these comments pretty often enough. Noah getting banned was a major deal, but not much else happened recently. I also manage the who gets in sometimes.

I'm cool with another admin I think, since we've always had 4. I felt like we had that power of three thing going on, but it technically is 4. Anyway, an instant response isn't too necessary, so I don't think we should pick solely on time zone, not that I have many better candidates. I think it should be a two part contest, build off plus a current admin examination. Finally, the emperor gets final say and announces his choice. Awe and I get to review and also input on the selection, but I think the real choice is Ian's. (chances are we'll all agree anyhow)

Oucho and Sammy seem like the two bigger candidates. Sammy has a disadvantage though, seeing as how his parents have gone ultra restrictive on his computer time.

I like them, and for this build off we are going for classic Coalition style builds, so it's gonna be cruisers and battleships with tanks. Yes, tanks, we are testing your coalition building skill and style, so tanks are naturally a prime choice for categories. We want admins to be an example for the Coalition. I agree on the categories, but just FYI candidates, don't build something scrawny for land vehicle. In my mind, land vehicle implies tank.

I could make a:
1.Ship no (I only have like 8 of those 3 stud high angled pieces and it takes like 3 months for me to get my Pick a Brick in yet there is a Lego factory in Tennese and I'm in North Carolina)
2.Land vehicle maybe
3.Scene Building YES
As well as not having many ship pieces at my disposal, I probably couldn't make new ship (or land vehicle for that matter) every other month.

Someone good at keeping order and building the theme? Sounds like a good candidate for the 4th admin spot.

hm... I recall what I said about tanks, for now I'm just looking for a heavy, meaty land vehicle. Something that looks armored. Artillery should be fine.

On a different note. I believe that The "victor" will then be obligated to continue to be able to produce decent mocs. As heavy handed as that may seem It seems important to me for the "victor" to be able to keep up a decent contribution. Seeing as he would be a role model. Also this would rule out those who would build one decent thing then revert to mediocre builds.

I would love a shot at the adminship, reasons being:
1. I'm homeschooled (active often)
2. I use proper grammer, spelling, and I do not over or under-react
3. I build the theme as I had over 30 C.O.P. mocs before getting this new account
4. I have knowlege of the history of the group (and building skills to match)
anyway it is all up to you admins if I'm allowed a shot...
Edit: took my time to read the thread, and I'm begining my building now...
