Join to comment
hey y'all, lol jk im not from the south!

anyway bk to reality

i was looking at the map on flickr of the cop une verse that awe and ian and whoever else had made

i noticed around our territories there were "dark no-go zones" that we have no knowledge of...and i thought to mself...

"hmmm more planets...excellente!!!"

and thus i request(for our sakes) that we send fleet lords to explore the zones for inhabitable colony planets...and to destroy any rebels who ive in self imposed exile i guess. whoever agrees...STATE NOW!!!

I think Coalition recources should be focused towards other things, enhancing defences on planets already colonized, for example.

There's a reason we mostly stay inside our borders. Even if the Galaxy is in chaos doesn't mean we don't have enemies out there. For example, the space beyond Thyrenda has been lost for some time, and won't ever be regained. Why? Sometimes the sacrifice required for victory is too great, even for the Coalition. We can send out small scouting parties, but like Anders said, our main priority is not loosing more than we already have.

No, only the Thyrendi are scared of the dark, and that's Warpspace level of dark, not basic space.

It'd be more of a stealthy mapping mission, considering there's only one vessel and very limited recources granted from Coalition authorities.

Then why do you have a nightlight?

I don't have a nightlight, unless you count my clock, which is digital and thus has a slight glow to it's screen.

Even if I did have a nightlight, at least I don't need to sleep with the lights on like you do.

It just so happens that I keep them on so I'm not caught off guard when the zombies invade.

That's the reason I also sleep with my eyes open...

Plus, who's to say the space wouldn't lead to an uncharted colonial planet that could potentially hold the keys to a massive weapon capable of obliterating several fleets?

Jus' saying.

This is a perfect example of why Steel Curtain doesn't really do anything.

But back on subject, before you ban me, perhaps you guys should explore these zones. Was it not one of these zones that the U.N.E. sprung up from? At least a small scan of the zones would be better to defend yourself, so you know what to expect and can prepare better.

Oh, it works, but only on people we use it on. You're just too afraid to admit that we have more control over the group when we want to.

Also, what good would scouting do? We'll end up attacked either way, and then we defeat them. We may not have the power we once had, but we're still to be reckoned with.

I thought the C.O.P knew of Earth before, they just considered Earth humans primitive ape creatures that would end up destroying themselves with primeval nuclear weapons.

Kind of. We knew Earth was there, but assumed there was just an ape-like species about to blow themselves up. We had no idea they were humans, and that they'd manage not to destroy everything.
