The darkness has been encroaching on us for a long while now. Tis a sad day when we proud few are sidelined by the likes of clonies. To all who falter I say farewell, to those that continue I say forge on and keep your heads held high. This was a great thing, It is ending. But we have it in ourselves to make Mocpages remember who we were and who we will continue to be.

That's pretty likely to be one of the tiny chances we have to rescurrect this place.
The UNE is the other. Not that I mean switching sides, but a collaboration, or if we're really desperate, merging.

You are indeed wrong. The COP is closing in on Earth, supposedly, but we're not there yet. A base above Jupiter (it's a gas giant, you can't build on it) would be destroyed by the UNE immediately. Stay out of the whole Earth area for now.

Doesn't really matter in the end, there is no winner. Well, canonically, one day there may be. But that day is not this day.

ok il try some other planet i heard the theres an planet called capricorn unknown to the U.N.E a small planet about half the size of the moon perfect for a small outpost gravity strangely is the same as earths vegitation is high but most of it would have to be cleared in order for a base if we can get hold of it we could a suprise attack on the U.N.E also the planet has a high water supply's this planet is perfect

I'd say that we have spelling. When people demonstrate the ability to spell - no matter how great - they show that they are different. More like AFOLs. And they love to swarm AFOLs. So if they can't deal with AFOLs they come to TFOLs that have "clean" mocs and can spell somewhat. Just a thought.

The Coalition does not ally, it annexes or conquers. The most independent a world can get is Autonomous Region, which is pretty much a vassal/satellite state.

I think you mean countries, but the COP had no contact with Earth in 2167. Therefore, space invaders won't show up speaking English.

Thus why I am creating Tarsin. Every good sci-fi franchise needs it's own alien language all the hardcore fans learn, amirite? Except Star Wars...

How variable is it?

By that I mean 'can different pronounciation or emphasis completely change the meaning of a word, and if so, is it applicable to more than 25% of the words so far?'.

Because if it isn't at least that variable, you're going to have a real job using it for anything without having people with far too much time on their hands going "actually, that translates to _____"

Well, it's not like one vowel will change a whole world. It's the endings that matter. For example, you might be saying nazlukor, I am soaring. But, if the o in -or is a short o (like the o in rot), it might be confused for nazlukar, which means I will be soaring.

Other than that, I try to variate the sounds in words by general meaning. All words related to flying have naz in them, all words related to life have az in them, all words related to metal have irud in them. Then you get fun compound words, like Irudzishi (metal+artificial life), where the a from azishi is dropped in favor of keeping the syllables down.

And then there are really fun words like Azerim-Irudzishiim, where it's like a triple compound word where both parts have to have separate but matching endings...

Yeh. I often feel like that. Sometimes I just sit around in my comfy chair and space out into my own fantasy world, trying to imagine as vividly as possible the exact sounds and motions and sights of the inside of a Falcon fighter, or mebbe a Guard's power armor.

Do you think that a bloke in light powered armor holding a massive scutum could be able to absorb light to medium fire in a futuristic/fantasy setting?

Maybe... My world revolves around a 19th century manor house with a hedge maze around it (in the maze are portals to other places, you get around in a 20s style car), so I wouldn't know.
