Okay well the topic "How much is to much" has turned into another unliscened talking so here is the next offical one. What is this? The 5th? 6th? 7th? Who knows.

Are there any details when making a COP ship (most likely small, minifig scale)?

It has to be bulky, right? And I was wondering what other colors I could use besides gray.

Not necessarily bulky, just angular. Ian goes bulky, I go aerodynamic. Grey and angular, that's how we roll.

White and black are acceptable, I believe. As per the shape, it really doesn't matter all that much, but a minimum amount of color is prefered.

Magnetic Acceleration Projectile Drivers, of the heavy variety. The shells they launch aren't that big, but there's two things about those holes:

1: It discharges pent up energy safely(?)
2: They look scary to enemies.

My current project (yes, I'm actually building a lego) is a ship in fact. I'm building a microscale ship that is one of the older COP starships out there. It features a large ram shaped front (Ian did it once) assuming that the very first COP ships were not as strong in weaponry and sometimes relied on their heavy solid steel to shove aside ships and debris.

Overall, the ship has barely two gun turrets built into the wall grooves. I think its looking good, though perhaps a bit too sloped and elegant for a COP ship. I'll have to try a COP tank pretty soon...

I believe that the Coalition does use lasers, but ONLY to "paint a bright red dot on the target," so to speak. That means we use lasers as an aiming assistant, much like modern military weapons.

That reminds me of both the Plasma Cutter from Dead Space and the Plasma Gun from Unreal Tournament.

I think that a portable plasma mini gun is legit, though the power required could be used to support a squad of armed ATVs.

I wouldn't say they are necessarily bad creations, just not exactly in the true COP style. Try checking out Ian Macdonald (hint, he's an admin) and his MOCs. I always go to see his stuff when I build something for COP. Feel free, but try try to build in that style for future COP creations.

While that holds true, a little variety is acceptable.

Remember my Hooded Cobra? That thing wasn't even CLOSE to any of Ian or Awe's creations (or even Fed's, now that I think about it), yet that thing passed with little resistance.

But, I'll be mimicking Awe's style a bit more nowadays, though I'm gonna go sleeker.

But as the person that responded first (don't feel like looking for your name at the moment) said variety is good. For example; I don't have much light Grey so I mix with darker Grey and white. Some times other colors depending on what I am building. I'll try to get as close as possible.

They're not quite COP style, but close. A simple change of some things should do the trick. You mentioned brickarms earlier, which are purchased. If you can, a Bricklink order for some grey parts might be helpful for you.

I myself managed to gather all my grey in one spot, which is like a free Bricklink for me. Of course, with Giftmas coming up, I plan to get more COP parts...

Hey, I need confirmation that you saw my comment on Precipice Chapter 7. It sorta kicks off a storyline that involves a lot of detective work, plus usage of the SH-73, and even the new robot, AA-R 1 (Assassin Android- Ripper)

Other than the discovery of the bombsite and my body, it has nothing to do with Precipice.

If I can get my comic up and running, the EOS, depending on fan vote on what happens the next episode (it will make more sense when the comic is started), will either die out by my hand in an attempt to re-rise.... or be led to victory by my hand.

The choice is made by fan vote!!!

I'm not worried about the color, so much as the style of building. You can't just go build a super organic curvy style ship in grey and call it COP. Its not the style. Anything Imperial Guard in 40k is good for the style.

What I meant by variety was as to color more than style.

When it comes to me, as long as it's mostly grey and has a basic bulkiness to it, it passes by me. Color is good to make it a little more yours, and the style is so that you can either go with one big rectangle or sleek it out a bit.

And I have NO idea what 40k is.

COP ships are like cathedrals. You got some which are very plain and austere, like my ships. You got others as ornate as Notre Dame, like Ian's, and then some that are a little more... What's the word? I want to say Gus's ships are rather art-deco, but I have no idea why.

My point is, COP ships have the same general style, but that style has many variations.

Perhaps... I'd imagine that COP armor changes as they go though. White is pretty much useful for only space (reflective) or snow (it's white). If the COP went to the jungle, it'd be green, and if they went to the desert, it'd be tan.

Depends on what you mean by geography. Here's the empire:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/thenotsogreat/3955009724/in/set-72157621648397237/

If you mean planets, well, each one is different, I'd guess. It's really up to whomever made the planet up. Thyrenda is a wetter, colder Earth. Owyhee is a dryer, more arid Earth. Tarsis is a slightly colder Earth (so I believe).

Size isn't everything. My sector may look big, but it only has about 9 inhabitable planets.

Edit: 7 inhabitable planets, 2 inhabitable moons.

I know, but that's not really what I was aiming at saying, I meant it was just a more spacious shape-thing, as in very different looking than sector 11.

Yeah, I don't care how big the sector is, it just matters what I put in it. Yay imagination!

Ah, I see. Well, no sense worrying about it now.

After 2 accounts and over a year on the pages, I've decided to try something new. It starts with a "D" and rhymes with "affection."

Indeed. Sector 27 is massive, but think of it like Khorasan. It's this huge place taking up parts of Turkmenistan, Iran, and Afghanistan, but there' really only a few livable places, it's mostly desert.

27, mostly taken up by the Kingdom of Thyrenda's far flung outposts, is composed of void, stars, and the occasional planet that is useless. There are only a few oases of life.

So, Awe, are you doing NaNoWriMo this year?

If so, will your story be about the COP and will you post it?

Oh, and I didn't mention that two of those 7 planets are used as prison planets for dumping enemies of the coalition on.

So basically there are only a mere 5 discovered planets and two moons with natural atmospheres in sector 19 that serve a purpose other than as a natural prison.

I'm sending probes out to see if there are any more planets that can support life. I think there may be a few in the supposed void between sectors 19 and 27.

There probably are more planets in there, but we haven't found them yet. Heck, there's probably whole fledgling empires in there that we haven't discovered, just because it's such a big area of space.

Well we won't know until my probes reach your sector, which could take up to a century seeing as in order to discover anything, you can't just jump through warpspace. You have to 'manually' send probes through the huge void in this reality.

Truth, truth. Well then, I guess we get to find out in the 2370s. I'll certainly be around then.

Yup.
But it would take half the time if you sent probes towards my sector too. I'll try and make a Moc of the probe I'm using. I'm sending 239 of 'em.

We can always expand for more sectors, but to be more realistic, you can command a battle fleet or reserve fleet that comes to the aid of any sector or fleet in need. Or just plain attacking planets....

And what is more legit than the comment question of the day: so tell me forum, if you had a COP statue of you, what would it be posed as? (seriously, someone get the "equals three" reference there)

SO this is how it happened...

"I was running my warm up lap in PE when this kid that doesnt like me shoves me into a pole, I blacked out for a few minutes, trying to break my fall I put my wrist out. I woke up to my teacher standing over me asking me questions. Then he called the custodian over (on his EZgo) and asked him to take him to the nurses office. He said he didnt want to move me so he called the nurse out who called 911. Then Medic Engine 58 came out strapped me down into a backboard. They called an ambulance, I went to the ER, gotta cast, had a concusssion."

There you go...

Thanks guys for your support, I really appreciate it, however, I am not mad at him. I kno its crazy not too, but I am not those kinda people who hold grudges.

I am humbled from this experience, everyone must admit to evil in their own hearts and not live thinking you are always good, the reason he pushed me is unknown, but he could of had a good one,

Although I doubt it was bullying because I try to prevent bullying and my segment on the school news I am doing is cyberbullying.
