Same here, especially for Sam's face, which I'd replace with Luke's newest head - (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb408) - and Legolas' arms which I'd replace with sandish-blue coloured ones instead; to me it just seems to bring out the look of him more. But overall, I'll stick with most of the pieces they've provided, just a few changes. :)

I will probably change up the ones I get. If I get Sam, I will definitely give him a backpack, Legolas would get a cape (probably Čomer's), and Čomer would somehow get bigger shoulders. (maybe brickforge pauldrons)

Whenever I looked at the BrickForge helmet, it always seemed to light and thin, which is odd from them. Maybe photographs change it from the reality. I wouldn't know, because I don't have that helmet yet.

I have a question about if you painted the new helmet for Gimli: wouldn't it be difficult to keep the markings on there when coating over the rest? It seems likely that the brush (or whatever you use to coat it) would accidentally slip right over top one of the markings. =/

I know. I hope it won't happen. I did that before with a brickforge helmet and it seemed to work very well though. Perhaps I should use a very thin brush and some things to wash the helmet, if I am too clumsy... :P

But it's true! It's a pity I haven't posted too many creations, but I'm going to change it.

Oh, and to answer your question, I got them from my Godmother's store. She had them one day, and so I went and bought a few. I don't really order anything from the LEGO website; I live in Greece, and shipping is way to expensive, plus it takes a long time to get here...

True i still see series 5 a lot.

Actually Lego expected series 5 to be a lot more popular than it was and made to many of it! So they are on overstock for that series because the demand was so far down. At Legoland they have whole boxes of it at each of their many, many cashiers, priced a dollar off in hopes that they can get rid of them.

They had the opposite problem with series 3. It was more popular than expected and they did not make enough of it to appease the need.

Perhaps they didn't expect that many people would create a female dwarf. In the game itsself there isn't any difference between both genders. Do you know the dwarven woman in Thorin's Halls? She has quite a deep voice.

Yeah, I noticed, and I really like it! :D However... I've found a fault in the programming of that, as some coding is easily visible at the very top of the page; though whether or not it has to do anything with the addition, I don't know - I've just noticed it now, and thought it should be brought to attention. Did you notice it?
Yes, I noticed it. It appeard after I added Justin's name to the homepage. Some other groups I know have the same problem, but nobody really knows how to fix it.

Hopefully it disappear's...

I don't know. Perhaps it is the short form for Middle Earth Role Playsomething.
That's what it stands for. You basically make a character and go on a adventure that the game master makes up. You can do pretty much whatever you want, you even can go and kill frodo and take the ring!

Sounds cool!

Good question...

It can still happen much this month, but I think Bailey and Sam are too inactive. Silent Ranger isn't as active as he used to be, but still active enough to stay moderator. Everyone else is very active(except from William) and do their job very well.

What does everyone think?

I'll be in! Well, sort of anyways. Unfortunately my entry wouldn't be a real model, but I'll try as hard as I possibly can with what is given in LDD. It may not be as rich as the real deal, but, I'm selling all I have right now. I'll not be so much a competitor, but still, I will enter into it with the contest being my motive. I relayed the message about how I'm selling all of my current LEGO already in the "LEGO Purchases" topic, but I wanted to make sure that others who haven't read my post there to know that my real models will be delayed for around a whole other year and a half. But of course, I'll enter! Can it be a contest for the Lord of the Rings architecture? The reason I ask for that, is because the actual products didn't have the intent of pure accuracy, they were just play sets. So, would you approve this idea?

I am the creator of the group and the contest, and you must do a lotr scene with star wars figures for this contest (there will be more!) if you cannot participate, I understand.

Quoting LEGO Lord (Inactive until May 17nth)

I think the creative leeway would be different and for some users a little bit difficult, but it would be great, if we made several rounds.

1. pretend I'm not home
2. if he persists amd/or breaks the door down i would find a suitable weapon
3. hide
4. kill him

Hey if in the impossable event that a Urak-Hai came up to you front door and knocked, what would you do?
I'm glad you asked!
1. I'd look through the window. If he looks nice and doesn't have a weapon, I'd ask him what he wants, but never ever open the door.
2. If he is in battle gear and started trying to break through my door, I'd call my neighbor across the street and tell him to shoot the thing.
3. If my neighbor isn't home, or thinks I'm crazy, I'd run for my life!
4. If there were more than one and there was no way to sneak out, I'd call 911. This will be useless though, for the Police will certainly think I'm nuts. In light of this, I'd find my dad's gun shoot any Urak-Hai that tried to get in.

Ok, so in the utterly impossible event that a Ringwraith came up to your front door, (on a horse, not a fell beast) what would you do? (and regular swords and arrows can't hurt them)

I would: RUUUNNNNN!!!!! (unless Gandalf was with me) And then he would probably overtake me and kill me.

That depends on what you want it to be. My first suggestion is always Middle Earth, Haha! :D A long time before I joined MOCpages I created Lego worlds and always called them LEGO Island. It was a place for my minifigs where they can spend perfect holidays and I tried to make it as idyllic and beautiful as possible, with many hotels and other places to relax.

Cool! i got up to the start of wave 4 when i had to stop. Do you know how many waves there are?

That depends on how fast you kill them. Usually there will appear a countdown that shows the time Frodo needs to reach Mount Doom. When the time is over, the level is done.

Hawkeye is sweet (thats who I dressed as) but Thor and Cap are pretty awesome too. I like all of them fairly equally, even Hulk. Iron Man, well, he's funny but he's also one of the most annoying, mean, and immature characters.

1. Aragorn
2. Tuor
3. Faramir
4. Beregond
5. Turin
6. Boromir
7. Halbarad
8. Eowyn
9. Erkenbrand
10. Denethor
11. Theoden
12. Grima
13. Eomer
14. Elendil
15. Isildur
16. Butterbur
17. Ghan-buri-Ghan
18. Bard
19. Beorn
20. Grimbold

I guess this would take very long, because there are only main characters and heroes in it. Maybe we should replace some of them?

Really? I read it in five days.

It just isn't something I am really interested in, so I read it rather slowly.

On a separate note, I am looking for a new scene to build from LOTR and I can't think of anything, I wanted it to be from the book and not the movie, and something besides the scourging of the shire. Any ideas?

On another separate note, Michael, I talked with my parents, and it is probable that we would host you if you came here, but you would have to get permission first, if you can get it then my parents will make a final decision.

The only problem with the dead is that I have no way of making an army of them, I like the idea though, maybe I will make something with the prince of Dol-Amroth.

At the moment the situation at home won't allow me to come in August, but I'm sure things will change during the next months and then I'll ask them again. Everything will be easier, because then we all have less work to do and I don't have any school for six weeks.

On another note I'm planning on a second letter to you and my first to Aidan and Thomas. Today I wrote my last exam for the next few months, so I'll have more time for it.

As for a new LOTR MOC you might make Aragorn's crowning on the Field of Cormallen, the hobbits captured by the Old Man Willow, the Barrow Downs, Bergil and Pippin who are watching the Gondorians who march to Minas Tirith, The Houses of Healing, the hobbits at Farmer Maggot's house, Marry sees the Black Riders when he gets lost in Bree, a poem from the book or maybe something that is mentioned in the appemdixes.
