The first assignment is to come up with three minor details you could add to a vignette with grass that would put it over the top. Permalink | December 6, 2009, 8:20 pm |

For a sleak design for grass you could make it Studless. You can stack grass pieces on top of each other to make bigger plants. Last you can use grass pieces for little trees. That was tough Ty~ Permalink | December 6, 2009, 9:23 pm |

Comments: Good but there is room for improvement. There was a good amount of details like the snow, icicles, and grass, but you could of had some little things like a snowboard rail or such. Overall great job, I can see your very good! Permalink | December 8, 2009, 7:23 pm |

EDIT: Unfortunately, this vignette is not 8x8 so I must doc' you 5 points. Nevertheless an 87 is still good with a 100% being an almost-perfect MOC. Permalink | December 8, 2009, 8:20 pm |

Hmmm, then instead just make a vignette but it has to have 5 small details, OK? Points will not be removed :) Permalink | December 8, 2009, 8:21 pm |

I will combine your scores, to be truly fair. For example if you get a 99 on this one than your overall score will be 94 Permalink | December 10, 2009, 7:45 pm |

It's Great, not amazing. Your building styles are well above your piers and you have great ability, but I couldn't expect anyone to build a 100 :) ~Ty Permalink | December 13, 2009, 8:40 pm |

MOC: Palm Tree in the Checkered Sidewalk
Grade: 89% + 93% (91%)
Comments:
1.) I liked the palm tree and the use of the grates, but I would like to see more details such as a lamp-post or bench. Overall very good and you've got great potential!
2.) Much improved, just having a palm tree was slightly dulling. The changes you added made the MOC much better. I would still like to see you adding in backgrounds or more colors but I can see your advancing.
Good job,

Yes I have seen that and the next assignment is to make a vignette with at least three minor details but it can only be five bricks high, that's right! This will be worth 100 points and will have a chance for a 5% bonus. Permalink | December 20, 2009, 9:51 pm | |
