Welcom to the Rebellion. It has been five thousand years since the collapse of the American Superrepublic. Freedom became a thing of the past. When a new superpower rose, The Fourth Reich, all of Earth fell (or rather gave in without a fight) before it. Prepare for the fight to end all fights. Prepare to assault core nineteen...If you want to know more, read the next passage.
NOTE: The Fourth Reich is simply the fourth in a list of great German states. The First Reich was Charlemagne's Germany. The second was under the Kaisers in the 1800s. The third, you may know, was Nazi Germany. I in no way intend to offend anyone and my deepest sympathy is for the victims of the atrocities committed by the Third Reich. The Fourth Reich is simply the Fourth in a list of the German states that influenced the world in some way, good or bad. It is a parody of Fascist regimes (straight from Keith Goldman's homepage)in general, and part of my storyline.
With the population explosion, humans are forced to find a new living environment. The sun is becoming old, nearing its end phase. With the development of interstellar travel at light speed, the humans were able to find a new planet. Or 100. And for every five new inhabitable planets, a Power Core must be built on one. You see, the humans have discovered how to transmit energy to other PLANETS. Using this technology, as aforementioned, one planet can supply four others with energy. There are twenty such Power Cores.
With the coming of the New Age at hand, the conditions were ripe. At first a small group of rebels fighting against the Fourth Reich, there are now five planets (some of the most heavily populated)on the rebels' side. These are the bravest men alive. These are the Rebels of Core Nineteen.
OH, AND ANOTHER THING: Death and Homework is my band's name; we came up with it as a name for our 10th grade English class, which was just that.
