THE STATE UNION:
The State military, trade and democratic union is an interplanetary Alliance which controls a large portion of the Galaxy. It began as a simpke empire on Planet Earth, starting from Europe which slowly, through diplomacy and trade allied the entire planet. Soon due to the unity of all of the planets countries, the planet prospered and quickly developed more and more advanced tech, until being able to travel in space.
The State Union Headed out into the stars, searching space for other life, finding many other species and planets, quickly communicating with them and allying them, conscripting them within The SU.
The State Union, with its newfounded allies qucikly found its economy was beginning to fall apart, with many of its space expeditions consuming large amounts of money. The state quickly introduced a new currency within their 'airspace' on the spiral arm named Credits, the other planets grew to this idea and Credits were printed and organised, as well as trade deals within the Empire, The State Union quickly grew large amounts of profit as the other planets produced resources and food for them and others in their quickly expanding empire.
With the Landorian revolution, an interplanetary riot that engulfed almost a quarter of the Unions Airspace, The State Union realised it needed to improve its military power so that they could not be as easily ousted as they nearly where in the Landorian revolution. Thus the creation of the State military branch was enacted, A large and powerful military. primarily made up of The State Military Guardsmen, garrisons of well armed and well trained men ready to serve and protect the union and its many planets.
